PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Oregon state officials have announced the “first presumptive case of [the] novel coronavirus,” and are expected to hold an evening press conference on the development, said Oregon Health Authority on Friday.
The pending press conference will discuss Oregon’s first case of the COVID-19 in “an individual living in the state.” Governor Kate Brown, along with OHA Director Patrick Allen, and a few other public health physicians are expected to speak. The press conference is scheduled for 6 p.m. and will be held at the Portland State Office Building.

Typical RATS. If you get another attack of clearly realizing how insignificant you are and have no victims or problems, then CREAT VICTIMS AND PROBLEMS....to try and appear significant....
Here’s a link from the World, which is a daily in South-West Oregon, hot off the press, assuring people that the chance of the virus reaching the South Coast is very low for now.
The operative word being “now”. Not stated that the chance of it reaching eventually is approaching 100%.
A good portion of FR has been well ahead of the curve on this one, but it is good to see questioning and robust debate.
Spent time at an elementary school. No Travel.
Still Presumptive, no confirmation test yet.
Dont blame rat states for a number of FR folks posting a thread seemingly EVERY TIME a human being has or Might Have this.
I am so disappointed in the snowflake atmosphere here the past week and a half.
This isn’t keeping up on the news of the virus.
This is abject FEAR.
I would expect this kind of fear on a dem site where this is the ONLY life there is and so losing it means EVERYTHING.
We’re supposed to think differently.
Now I see that when the #### hits the fan, too many conservatives are just as worldly as dems.

Yes, Fear is a mighty motivator.
The Dow is down 4000 points in the past two and a half weeks.
FR can be a leading indicator, not a lagging one.
The Dem sight reaction can be anticipated, has been, is seen on Wall Street, and may be coming to a Main Street near you. Feel smug telling those people who are panicking that there is no reason to panic, and so their panic and its consequences shouldn’t exist.
I’ve faced my own mortality three times now. Heck, maybe four technically.

These big stories tend to get some otherwise good folks wound up.
As far as i can tell this is a rapidly spreading bad flu and no more. Italy has hundreds of cases and the last couple of days the only deaths were very elderly types. IOW, typical flu victims.
Awfully suspicious ... all of these rat states.
I posted, earlier, that it would be interesting to see a reporting comparison, between states.
