Outside China as of Friday morning, 4,351 cases across at least 48 countries have been confirmed, including 67 deaths, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said. About two dozen countries have reported only one case.

Tedros reiterated that the virus could still turn into a pandemic. He urged against fear and panic, adding, “our greatest enemy right now is not the virus itself. It’s fear, rumors and stigma.”

This is extremely important to note as we may be getting a glimpse of the true death rate which is less than the fear mongers state. Additionally I think the denominator is probably falsely low because other literature states that many cases are mold and self limited so people would not seek attention. Other cases may be asymptomatic. My prayers I are that these numbers are correct and we can start to address the fear in a scientific way
This threat level is directly correlated with the severity of the CDC executives’ Trump Derangement syndrome.

WHO has jumped the shark with this call. What are they gonna do when they need an even higher level than the “highest level”?

Economically if your business has 100 people and 2-5 people get sick every week, and the sick are out for 3-4 weeks, and this goes on for months, this will effect productivity until it passes, i think the death rate is low but the just sick rate will be higher. Small businesses might shutter for 3-4 weeks, larger businesses might have only skeleton staff. Super Bowl sick out on that Monday was over a billion dollars in lost productivity, but if families are sick lost productivity will increase exponentially, no school, restricted activities, no restuarants, no in store shopping, anything with a risk of exposure, and this goes on for 2-3 months. My opinion.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

Yep. Population outside of China is around 6.5 billion. And there are 67 deaths? This is the craziest thing I’ve ever seen.
