They did it to further their careers which were going nowhere. Thats why.
well he’s not going to enjoy being told when and how often he can shower, eat, and the structure he will have to live every day by. He may eventually have the privileges awarded if he pays for them but early on he’s going to be a prisoner who has to follow somebody elses rules....and likey be in solitary for a time.

Not reason enough....everyone in Hollywood knows about the casting couches. Did they think they would be exempt? and this creep had a reputation for doing this stuff.
I cannot imagine convicting a person for an event that happened 20 years ago between two people....no witnesses, nothing in writing, no pictures, NOTHING except one’s testimony against another....I don’t get it!!!
If he is found guilty on those charges, he’d be guilty 7x (I won’t type it over and over).
I wonder where he would serve his time... New York or Ca?
He will be formally sentenced on March 11 and he is appealing the conviction. But will spend anywhere from five to over 25 years in prison for his crimes.....he was taken into custody right away though his attorney requested he be placed on house arrest, citing “letters from his doctor,”

One can be convicted without your list. A trial for murder does not need a body either.

I agree, too. Still, I have my own problems with little empathy or sympathy for a slime-ball like he is.
It’s a case of progressives eating their own, which I heartily applaud. But you are correct, it’s a very belated he-said, she-said, and should never have been brought to trial
Rape in the third degree is a class E felony in NY.
Must say, I expected him to walk.
And witnesses disputed their testimony. Never told their friends. Avted fine afterwards.

I didn’t follow much of the case....he’s got all kinds of attornies to appeal, which they’ve done, and drag this through the system indefinately. But he’ll sit in prison for the duration. He’s already declared bankruptcy on his company, which was bought out, so he’s busy protecting his what he can.
I think all of Hollyweird and the entire industry ought to be suspect in this whole thing.
For sure he’s a pig... .and for sure he ain’t the only one. Besides... did he hold a gun to anyone’s head? Girls can claim only so much naivete then they are just plumb dumb.
I didn’t follow it closely but did any of those girls have second thoughts about their own lack of judgement? Did any of them admit to being blinded by ambition. I wonder.

He’ll serve in NY first and then LA for the charges yet to face there. But there’s generally a lot of negotiations about the prison itself he’d be confined in, usually how it is for high profile cases.
