#NamasteTrump #USPresident #DonaldTrump is embarking on his maiden two day visit to India from February 24 which will further cement the relations between the two nations. Trump official visit kickstarts with his arrival in the city of Ahmedabad which is the business nerve center of the western state of Gujarat. Soon on his arrival at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport President Trump and Prime Minister #NarendraModi will hold a road show from the airport en route to the Sardar Patel stadium in #Motera. Over 1.2 lakh persons will participate in the participate in the Namaste President Trump event on February 24 at the Motera stadium. The 'Namaste Trump' will be akin to the 'Howdy Modi' event held in USA on 22 September 2019 in Houstan, Texas. He will make a stopover in the magnificent city of Agra in Uttar Pradesh to see the Taj Mahal accompanied by the first lady Melania Trump.
I hope that PDJT puts the pressure on Modi to moderate his hard line on Christians, of course, all behind the scenes. While mohamedanism, and Iran in particular, is the most obvious persecutor of Christians, the hardliners in the BJP, including Modi, are a clear and present danger to Indian Christians.
I have not heard of Christians having a problem with any Modi policies.
I have heard of Indians causing their own problems with them.
Here is a link to a 2019 article from that organization detailing how India has risen to the number 10 spot on their 'Watch List' of countries that persecute Christians.
Here is a link to their 'World Watch List'.
Here a link to details about persecution of Christians in India.
A number of Indian States have passed 'anti-conversion' laws. Pastors are often arrested, beaten and sometimes killed for preaching the Gospel, being accused of 'forcing' people to convert to Jesus. Instead of the police arresting the attackers, those teaching the TRUTH are then charged under those 'anti-conversion' laws. Modi has never renounced such laws AND his BJP wants to introduce a NATIONAL 'anti-conversion' law.
Are Christian 'Indians causing their own problems'? If you consider preaching the Gospel to be 'causing their own problems'? Then yes, I guess they are! If you do a quick internet search of Christian persecution in India, you will find PLENTY of examples!
Now, you HAVE heard of Christian having problems with Modi's policies!
