They performed PERFECTLY on impeachment.... if you realized the purpose of the impeachment was to take out BIDEN, not Trump and clear the nomination for a radical left winger... which was its intent.
The impeachment was NEVER about taking out Trump, it was about rope a doping the far left of their party... which is exactly what they are doing.
And to those that thing I am crazy, I ask you this... tell me, if you were a democrat and ordered to make sure you lose this election by the biggest margin possible, what would you do differently than what the democrats have been doing? Name me one thing you would be doing differently.
I think this is what is scaring the bejesus out of Chris Matthews and Carville.
Matthews is genuinely frightened of what Sanders would do. But he grew up in an era that hid under their Desks from the Commies. He grew up when Cuba was an actual threat.

Bernie is 78, has little left to lose, and is a true believer in socialism. I say he gets mad and bitter, girds up his loins and makes a third-party run. His supporters will go with him. It will make Trump unbeatable but I suspect Bloomberg would finish a distant third, giving the BernieBots a valuable consolation prize, total control of the Democrat Party.

I tend to agree with your analysis except for one thing: Bernie totally wimped out in 2016.
He also wimped out against liawatha, who confronted him in a staged “off camera” ambush about Bernie having called her a liar. When she is a liar. And he should have agreed with her, and said, that’s right, because you are a liar. Because that f-ing b*tch is a liar and lies every time she opens her mouth. But Bernie wimped out. Weasled out. It is OUR wet dream to have a brokered DNC convention.....the powers that be will avoid it at all costs...especially after last year.

Here are some calculations:
In a very few weeks, Bloomberg has already spent $420 MILLION. $420,000,000 !!!
That would be enough $$$$$ to give every single CITIZEN man-woman-child in the USA a check for $1 million EACH & to pay the gift tax on it all. That would make the $1 million tax free to the recipient. Imagine what that could do in the households of 80% +++ of Americans !!!
AND—there are 8 months left for Bloomberg to spend more.
In the 2016 election, Trump got around 63 million votes. Hillary got over 60 million.
Let’s just say a total of 125 million votes were cast. Let’s also say that PERHAPS 140 million votes might be cast this November—even with all the voter fraud.
If there is an almost even split of those 140 million votes, each side would get around 70 million votes.
With the money Bloomberg has ALREADY spent-—that would represent a cost of $6,000,000 PER VOTE if he is the Dem candidate. Money spent SO FAR.
Even if he spends only that-—which he won’t-—he has ponyed up the equivalent of $6 MILLION spent for EACH VOTE
With 8 more months to go, IF Bloomberg lasts that long, how much money PER VOTE will he be spending????
You have to ask yourself why a person smart enough to earn that kind of money would spend so much to earn $400,000 a year as President.??
It can ONLY be because he can hold power over all the USA citizens.

They know they can’t win 2020, anyone with a few neurons working knows this... Sitting Presidents don’t lose unless you have a bad economy or something else of that sort of impact... and that’s not happening.
So, they can run a moderate, who will do the best, but lose, and see the far left wing say “See we didn’t go far left enough” and keep gaining more power and influence... or, they can get something out of this loss that will give them long term gain, and that long term gain is to knee cap the wing of their party they know can’t win a national election and is getting too powerful.
Which is what they are doing. Yes they may lose 2024, but they know they can’t win 2020... and something is better than nothing... If they don’t moderate they know they will lose 2024, and beyond.
Dems (at least the smart ones pulling the strings) know they are losing this fall... they also know, even if they run their best option for vote totals they will not take back the senate... Throwing 2020 in order to knee cap the far left, and let the party moderate going forward is the ONLY play to make... and they are making it... Pelosi’s little temper tantrum is part and parcel of all this as well.
If you think the oldest political party on the planet does not engage in strategic actions, you are completely underestimating your opponent. They know they have to moderate, or be on the losing end of national elections for a long long time... they also know they can’t win this fall... so, best play is to take out the AOC/Left wing radical idiot wing of the party.
As I said, if you think I am wrong, I ask you, please, tell me if you were a democrat, and someone told you, throw this election in the biggest way possible, without openly admitting what you are doing... What would you do differently than what the Democrats have been doing?

I don’t know about a “wet dream” (yuck), but I have not decided to count HRC out, yet. She “won” the “popular vote” in 2016 without even campaigning. Now she knows she can’t campaign. I think the 2016 Wikileaks show that SHE was in control of the DNC and the MSM. The election results show that the cheat machine worked for her.
Unless she is willing to ride off into the sunset, this is her last chance and we should watch for things being steered toward her takeover at the convention.

But will Bernie Bots and Occasional Cortex allow themselves to be knee-capped in 2024, even if they lose in a landslide?
Up to now, what we’ve seen is their unwillingness to compromise. So I think another possible result is that the Democrat party continues to be divided even into 2024.
Oh, they will still be screaming their little heads off.. but if they get crushed in 2020.. which they will... the donors and powers that be within the party will no longer listen to them.
Look at what happened to mcgovern’s liberal movement after 1972....
Same thing is going to happen after this fall... they’ll still be there... still screaming... but their influence within the party will be gone...
