Former Deputy National Security Adviser K.T. McFarland said FBI agents working with Robert Mueller's special counsel probe tried to set up her up in a "perjury trap."
"The FBI showed up at my house unannounced. I was all by myself. They come in and I said, 'Do I need a lawyer for anything? I have never met with any Russians. I have never dealt with any Russians,'" she told Fox News' Brian Kilmeade.
McFarland said the agents who questioned her insisted they just needed a "little bit of information" to help them with the investigation.
"So, I naively went along with it. The whole time they were setting me up for a perjury trap," she told "Fox & Friends." "Because Brian, they seized all of my files, my documents, text messages, cell phones from the period I was in government. ... They had control of them. They wouldn't let me have control of them."
She said the search turned up nothing.
"They thought they could pressure me to say, 'Well, I lied in one of my early talks with you guys when I didn't have access to my information,'" she said.

Poor guy must be feeling the heat of public scrutiny that is being turned on him. At some point he might just submit his resignation. I think a clear signal is being sent to him that it's time for him to get out of Dodge.

As a lawyer, I advise you to STFU. Don’t talk to any cops, the IRS, etc. Don’t give a recorded statement after a wreck to the insurance company. STFU.
And don’t open the door to the nice looking leo without a warrant. If there is a warrant let them in, put dog in kennel, sit still and call your lawyer. Keep mouth shut.

You have an interesting point. I am convinced that the source of Hillary’s continued power is the FBI files she obtained through her “husband’s” presidency. Exposing what the Beast holds over them would remove its power.
Exposure would also remove the power of the most powerful in Government, which is why it will never happen.
The very nature of the “Deep State” is the coverup of the crimes they have committed.

Immediately plead the 5th, and unless they have a warrant, walk away, close the door, etc. Say NOTHING to them until you have competent legal council present...even then, the standard Hitlery approach of “I can’t remember” should be taken.
