Bloomberg Delivers His Best Attack Line Against Bernie Sanders...And It Was Pretty Brutal

The Vermont democratic socialist went on his usual line about how socialism is awesome. He railed against what he sees as socialism for the rich, calling out Donald Trump for getting hundreds of millions of dollars in tax breaks for his business ventures. Sanders also railed against the welfare state expenditures for Walmarts workers because the Walton family pays what the Left sees as starvation wages.
And then Bloomberg torpedoed it in a couple of sentences.
What a wonderful country we have. The best-known socialist in the country happens to be a millionaire with three houses. What did I miss here? he replied.
Nasty. And true. Also, we all know that democratic socialism has all the suffering and authoritarianism as socialism, but only has a few extra steps. Its still trash.

It was hilarious. Burnee got particularly PO'd at the communist remark. Still trying to 'splain that his form ain't like the old way cause he knows how do it right this time. And, there are plenty of demodrones out there buying the Burneebot snake oil.

It thought it was an effective jab but not a big blow. And it was literally Bloombergs only highligjt. Money cant buy a personality, apparently

I liked the follow-up in which Bernie said the current taxcode was the problem.
Bloomberg: “But YOU people in Washington voted for that taxcode!”
Bernie: “Only because rich people like you bribed us to vote for it!”
These are not perfect quotes, but close enough.

I will give Bloom that one.
It was low-hanging fruit, but considering that no one else would say it to him, it was a “heroic” effort akin to the little tailor that killed 7 flies in one blow.

I just pray that last night was a wake-up call for Mini-Mike. I hope he realizes the party he joined is not the party he thought, buries he hatred of Donald Trump, and stops supporting those POS democraps. The only thing that worries me about Mini-Mike is his ability to spend a ton of money.

Wouldn’t it be hilarious if Bloomberg is partnering with Trump.
I know, I know, they hate each other, but still. :D

What’s the source of Bloomberg’s hatred of Trump? Any specific incident or just jealousy?

I just pray that last night was a wake-up call for Mini-Mike. I hope he realizes the party he joined is not the party he thought, buries he hatred of Donald Trump, and stops supporting those POS democraps. His tenure as mayor of NYC amply demonstrated that liberty and regard for the average American are not for him. He's still closer to the Rats than to the Grand Trump Party.

Right. Had any of the others said it, it would have stung Sanders. But because Bloomberg was so wounded and hapless, it meant little.

So Bernie admits to taking bribes as a public official while indicting all of his peers in office. Senators say the darndest things!
It’s something we already knew, but it’s kinda fun to hear them admit it once in awhile.

My guess is that Bloomberg feels he’s the Big Man of NYC, and Trump demonstartes that he’s not.

Bloomy has a China problem and Trumps policies are at the center of it.

1. Look at Bloomberg’s wife. Then look at Melania!
2. Look at how short Bloomberg is compared to Trump.
3. Trump’s Mar-a-lago makes Bloomberg’s houses look like dumps.
4. Trump is president, Bloomberg is not.
5. Trump is famous world over. Next month he will be a guest of prime minister Modi in India, and 120,000 people are expected to attend Trump’s introduction by PM Modi.
