Neil needs a maid...
I liked Neil and his music. But today he’s just a bitter old crank. Pot is (was) his drug of choice. His biography, Shakey was saturated in marijuana. I am sure he has toned this down.

Young pursued actress Carrie Snodgress after seeing her in the movie "Diary of a Mad Housewife." At that time, she was the biggest actress in Hollywood and had the world ahead of her. Neil wanted to marry her and insisted that she give up acting. She complied. They then had a son who was horribly disabled by Cerebral Palsey. (As an aside, Neil had two sons with two different women and both had Cerebral Palsey, so he was the source of the disability.) He then dumped Snodgress, by which time her career was in tatters, and to add insult to injury wouldn't pay her sufficient child support to take care of their disabled son.
