But General Flynn's name is not on the list of pardons.

What needs to happen here is for an appellate court to OVERTURN the Flynn conviction. If justice is not done there - then a Trump pardon.

Trump can pardon people at any time in the future. Liberal thugs need to finish their hatchet jobs so Trump knows they’re being pardoned for EVERYTHING. That’s my guess,

He has to keep those at arms’s length, for now.

Too many Republicans, along with all Democrats, would be capable of stopping all judicial picks through the Senate, as a protest.

RE:Stone & Flynn

Trump is going to let it play out in court before he steps in.

It’s the smart move.

I 100% support the Milken pardon. That man was sent to prison because he made a lot of money doing something that the big banks eventually ineptly tried to emulate with their securitized mortgage bonds.

It would be crazy for Trump to pardon Flynn and Stone right now. Both of them could have their cases dismissed without his involvement. That is the best outcome. A pardon is second best.

Neither is Charles Kushner's. I'll bet Jared is peeved at that. Since Trump was pardoning all sorts of other white-collar criminals and all.

Flynn would have been on this list if his lawyer was competent, but she was putting her interests before her client’s.

I’m not understanding the Blagoyovich (sic) commutation from Trump. Would someone explain why he did that?

At this time of uncertainty for Flynn and Stone, Trump pardons other people...IMO signaling to Flynn and Stone that their time will come.

Hi.

Not a thread hijack...

Donald Trump had never been a politician until June 16, 2015. But, in building a successful developer/real estate business and entertainment empire he had to deal with politicians.

Over forty five years gets you tons of experience in politics if you pay attention.

The President will pardon more people as he gets closer to the election. (Reelection).

Of the three not pardoned (Manafort, Flynn & Stone), two of them still have active cases, and while it’s not unheard of to step in to an active case, it’s unusual. As for Manafort, he probably is kind of angry that Manafort was such a sleaze, as it did hurt the campaign.
