Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush told a Presidents Day audience of investors and money managers that its time for a return to civility in the nations politics. And the man who was ousted early from the Republican primaries of 2016 gave a decidedly mixed review of the first term of President Donald Trump

As for such "kingly duties as setting an example to which younger people can aspire, Bush found the president deficient.
The duties say if you can work hard and play by the rules you can be just like him
thats an F, Bush said. Thats an important part of this, to be admired by someone that you look up to. This president doesnt achieve that.

Civility ... defined as Republicans being nice / subservient to Democrats or as DNC brand Democrats not acting like DNC brand Democrats at all?
Did he manage to stay awake through the entire statement?
Why is he not directing this toward the openly corrupt democrat leaders?
He fell for the Rat hate by civility division trap. Soros 101.
I doubt Romney gives a crap regarding what Jeb says.
The bush family likely should be investigated for their anti-American globalist BS they pulled and that they continue to do. Many have died because of their perfidy.
In modern jargon, civility means surrendering to Lefists, Progressives, Democrats, no real difference...
Or not
Civil these days means Republicans bend over and take it.
No thanks.. winning is the greater accomplishment. Historians dont write about nice losers.
Yes indeed, civility is the key to effective governance.
NOT!
The fact is, there are many entrenched little cliques that jealously guard their assumed entitlements, and nothing short of some really tough love is going to rout them from their cozy little nooks.
Now, tough love looks a lot like abuse and threats, but of course it is nothing of the sort. This is an attempt to salvage a twisted life style, and set the afflicted person back on a right course in life where each may become a productive citizen in their own way, and instead of adding to the problem, they become part of the solution.
But some people have to be really beaten around the ears before they get up and move. Gentle persuasion and sweet talk does not always work.
Be a good little boy and play with your tiny turtles.
1) On its face, that’s not unreasonable. However in the current political environment, coming from an (R), it sounds like pining for R’s to go back to good sport hapless loser mode.
2) What has Trump accomplished on his actual job, you know, policy advocacy and the execution of policy? Are we more or less free than we would have been with Hitlery?
If the price of civility is totalitarianism under collectivist half-human scum, and you’re willing to pay it, then your priorities need review.
Shut yer stupid word hole, pansy.
Rather than doing what it takes to make America better, Jeb and the democrats would be happy managing the decline of America, so long as they are in charge.
Got to give Jeb credit,...he strategically positioned himself immediately adjacent to the next POTUS. I never knew of Jeb’s great gift ... a political clairvoyant! I may need to reconsider my cynicism about his wanting civility in politics.
He needs to address his remarks to the Democrats.
Any loss of civility in politics is solely due to their get-in-their-faces four decade embrace of Saul Alinsky.
A member of the Bush subspecies of RINO surrender monkeys...
