Former Georgia gubernatorial candidate and voting rights advocate Stacey Abrams hit the nail on the head, telling voters not to let two small, virtually all-white states tell them whom to pick as the Democratic presidential nominee:
We need a more representative sample Exclusive: @staceyabrams believes that our Iowa and New Hampshire first primary system is silencing voters of color
She makes the logical case that only 65 delegates have been selected (distributed rather evenly among several candidates) out of a grand total of 1,991 who would need to be pledged to win the nomination on the first ballot. From this non-representative sample of nearly all white voters, we know nothing (or virtually nothing) about how this will all turn out.
**SNIP**
Voters would be well advised to heed Abramss admonition that the outcome rests in the hands of delegates outside of two small overwhelmingly white states. If voters dont like the choices those states made, they can ignore them and the pundits who insist we know more than we do.

Jebbifer is a lying dog faced pony soldier.
Jennifer Rubin wants to keep tricking people into neocon wars.
And forget the other states. Dems are toast.
CA,OR,WA,NY etc ok. But not enough to look much better than McGovern,Mondale and Dukakis----those thrilling and charismatic Dem candidates the American people couldn't get enough of--not.
NeverTrumper Repuke political advice is worth a pile of Monopoly money. Absolutely worthless. I was listening to Rush last Wednesday and he mentioned that a couple of John KaySICK’s aides from his 2016 campaign were lending a hand to the Biden campaign. Slow Joe doesn’t need help to implode his campaign because he’s more than capable of doing that on his own, but having a couple of worthless NeverTrumper Repukes on the payroll ensures it!
Extraordinarily bizarre logic as Iowa is what knocked Hillary off of stride and dramatically increased Obama’s stature as a serious Presidential candidate.
To clarify, the ‘bizarre logic’ comment was directed at the comments you were responding to, not to you.
Rubin is a filthy little lying liberal socialist
I’d rather have Bernie that her. At least the Bern seems somewhat honest at times.

She just told the Bernie peeps that she is an establishment hack. Damn that was dumb.
Not worth my time at all if its her or dozens of others at the compost. She is one of the worst tho
Stacey Abrams’ advice aside, even some GOP candidates (in the past) have had a back-up plan in case Iowa and NH didn’t go their way.
Bush did in ‘88. He contested both Iowa and NH but there was the thought among campaign advisers that if things went south, the campaign would go South.
Super Tuesday, that is. The campaign had a fall-back plan that would have allowed Bush to win many of the Super Tuesday states as possible, thus blunting any losses he suffered in Iowa and NH.
The Democratic party is more obsessed with skin color than the KKK. It’s literally all they think about night and day and in every situation and circumstance. Race is all that matters to these people.
These liberals walk into any random room and if it has too many white people, they think something must be wrong. Literally, that’s what they do.
Advice to Democrats:
Forget the White House.
I AM SURE PEREZ AND TRIPPI HAVE ACCEPTED THAT AND IT WON’T BE LONG BEFORE THEY FORGET MANY MORE STATE RESULTS TO KEEP THEIR JOBS. SOROS HAS JUST SO MUCH MONEY.
Yes-she is trying to get on the VP short list for these Dem old white guys-but going back to 1952, I dont see a nominee of EITHER party who didnt come in at least 1st or 2nd in either Iowa or New Hampshire.
e.g. Reagan came in 2nd to Bush in 1980 in Iowa but won New Hampshire and there were 6 candidates so full fields are not that unusual.
In Iowa, 1992 with an Iowa Dem Senator running, and sex scandals breaking Bill Clinton finished 3rd or 4th if you count uncommitted, but finished 2nd in New Hampshire
McCain came in a close 4th in Iowa in 2008 and won New Hampshire , these are the WORST I have found and note they each came in either 1st or 2nd in one of the two.
If that holds it means the nominee for the Dems would be either Sanders (my bet) or Buttigieg
Biden might defy history because the country has higher % people of color in other states but I dont think so.
Now that you say that, I note that the scale stopped working.
