Billionaire Democratic presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg once told a female employee struggling to find childcare to hire 'some black,' according to a 1998 lawsuit.

'It's a ******* baby! All it does is eat and ****! It doesn't know the difference between you and anyone else! All you need is some black who doesn't have to speak English to rescue it from a burning building,' Bloomberg said in July 1993 to a female salesperson who'd just had a baby, according to the lawsuit.

Mike is a very compassionate and swell guy.

It’s funny how the Democrats are such whores, and Microtyrant has enough money to buy them all.

And then he’ll own them.

This is like 30 years ago. Who knows if true. Even if true, why should I care. Frankly, I don’t like Bloomberg, but this sort of political defamation disgusts me. Every time someone is offended people sue or try to use it against someone politically.

The only way you can be a politician is if your history was erased before you run.............. I guess we tried that already and it didn’t work out. Trump and Bloomberg left footsteps because they lived real lives. My choice is based on what’s best for the Constitution and We the people.

Sounds like such a charming fellow.

Note, for all his bombast and his hard-nosed reputation, I’ve never heard anyone accusing Trump of treating his female employees this way.

Bloomie should just own up to it by shrugging his shoulders and remarking, "Honestly, who hasn't ever called a spade a spade?"

The old Bloomberg would have; just as he would have doubled down on confirming the effectiveness of his stop-and-frisk policy. Now, though, he feels the need to pander.

This seems to be they way politics is run now. If you are not one of the chosen, you are fair game for every dirty trick, lie and innuendo that the opposition can muster. Truth is irrelevant and ethics is a far away dream for many these days.

Maybe Bloomberg should have used some self control in his outbursts to his employees. Employees sure have to!

Trump’s people are going to have a heyday with this guy. I can see this women and other sitting in the front row at a debate.

Seriously, this guy has been in politics a long time, ‘new lawsuit’ from 1998? That was settled?

Hey, has Mike done a ‘I’m not intending to commit suicide’ message yet? Just checking, he does spend an awful lot of time near the Clintons...

Nah, only the peons are to respect and have self-control towards management, not the other way around. (Doomberg has plenty of company there)</sarcasm>

“This is like 30 years ago. Who knows if true. Even if true, why should I care.”

This is a story about a lawsuit that was filed back in 1998, and settled out of court, so it wasn’t a long time from when the actions are purported to have happened and the filing of the lawsuit.

Further, if true, it’s not just ‘living life’ when you tell a pregnant woman working for you to ‘kill it’.

If this is true, why is it a problem for Democrats? Don’t they want all mothers to just turn their babies over to the State (if they let them live at all), so that the mothers can get out there and generate taxable income?

Have we ever heard any Trump employees, male or female, accuse Trump of being a nasty jerk of a boss?

He’s like an old officer that bought his commission, and paid for the shiny uniforms and muskets for his pseudo-mercenary army just to get him in the game. He then places his army far away from the bombs, waiting for others to take the first wave, while he plans on walking in and taking the field with a spotless uniform.

These things coming out need to rip him to shreds before he gets near anything.

Well send him a sympathy card.

This is a political war. He has no issues using stuff like this on you. Be happy that the other Dems are smart enough to take the shots for you.

An alternate theory is that his team is putting some of this stuff out there because they know it will come out eventually. In the primary process - the early is often forgotten or dismissed later. They are getting rid of the negative stories that pop up on a simple google search.

Just my .02, but that is the way politics is often played.

I agree with you in spirit, but allegations like this against Bloomberg need to be brought to the attention of anti and Never Trump people who think comments made by Trump about the tendency of certain women seeking fame and fortune by throwing themselves at rich, powerful famous men are fair game—the infamous “you can grab them by the pussy” comment.

No matter, what Bloomberg said vs. was alleged to say to women in his past means nothing if not brought out by Sanders or Klobuchar to try to gain advantage in a debate.
