Former Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden said the fact Obama administration deported 3 million undocumented immigrants, many of whom had no criminal records, was a big mistake.
We took far too long to get it right, Biden said in a Friday interview with Univisions Jorge Ramos in Henderson, Nevada.
Biden said the administration did not begin to get it right with regard to immigration until after its first term. The former vice president also did dispute that the administration deported more people than any administration before them as well as the Trump administration, though that fact has been widely reported on since both he and Obama left office.
The point is, there were too many, he conceded. I saw the pain in the eyes of so many people who saw their families being deported, I know what its like to lose family members, it was painful.

But it wasnt until 2012 that we began to get it right with the DACA program and trying very much in 2014 to expand that and moving in the right direction, he said.

VP blather keeps on keeping on. Pack it in nuzzlin’ joe. I hear there are some lifeguard jobs coming up this summer at the Delaware shore.
Three million was not nearly enough, but it was a start.
A lot more would have been on that road out, if they could have been found.
But no, sanctuary cities and all.
mistake: 11 million short
“11 million short”
About 30 million short.
Typical divisive politics. As you said - pandering. People like him have chopped up the nation in search of a coalition of voters who could put and keep them in office. They laid the foundation for how divided our nation is now - and they did it entirely for their own careers. It is beyond disgusting.
Hopefully Biden will have illegal aliens who hate white people caring for him in a nursing home...
Some lessons need to be learned the hard way.

Yes, I see what you are getting at.
Does anyone really know how many illegal aliens are in America? We’ve heard that 11 million number for about 20 years now.
Based on the reaction to Trump wanting to ask about citizenship on the census, I get the idea, that the liberals don’t really want to know; that this is a don’t ask/don’t tell sort of subject to them.
Why doesn’t he just dig up his dead son and use his casket to stand on when he speaks
he falls back to it all the time, trying to garner sympathy
The excuse illegal immigration advocates made before Trump was that it wasn’t possible to deport millions of immigrants. Now it’s changed to a mistake.
I'll actually agree with the buffoon on this.
Should have been ≥ 10,000,000
Treason.
They can't vote....Oh, wait...never mind.
11 million would make an incredible start...and weaken our invaders significantly.
This dipshit ever being born was a big mistake.
I thought one thing thee Rats did was county as “deported,” people who were stopped at the border, without ever really entering the country.
Should deport 30 million illegals!!
Hispandering.

Well, the big companies have to get low-wage laborers from somewhere to make the products they sell. /sarc
