well 1 billion is 1,000 x 1 million, so 62 billion would be 62,000 x 1 million

Do you think Blumquist can pack venues like Trump can?

For those who don't know about Scandanavian surnames, the "quist" ending means a small branch.

In plain words, Doomberg is a petty twig.

Thanks for responding to my post.

Yes, I certainly can see Soros’s tentacles in this current mess.

In a darkly comic way, Soros is the closest thing we’ve seen in real life to the villain in a James Bond movie.

Maybe Mike Myers (who played both “Dr. Evil” and the title character in the Austin Powers movies) can star in a biopic someday.

It’s gratifying to witness all the chaos on the political left. But I’m sure none of us are forgetting for a moment how vicious these people are and how they need to be not only defeated at the polls but annihilated just like the Nazis were 75 years ago.

The one element of chaos that hasn’t happened is the timely death of a major player on the left. Elijah Cummings doesn’t count, as he was just garden-variety hack politician.

But I keep having this feeling in my gut that sometime between now and the election, some big commieRAT is going to have to face our Lord — and will no doubt have a lot of ‘splaining to do. This timely demise will have ripple effects across the political left.

Soros? He’s ancient but his devotion to evil hasn’t dimmed. Bernie? Bad ticker, as we saw recently. Hitlery? Bad everything, so it seems. Hats off to her care team for keeping her alive and semi-lucid. Pelosi? The old harridan is desperately trying to cling to power when she should be enjoying her last years in comfort.

These people would be pitiful if they weren’t so dangerous.

Does Bloomberg have a coalition to broken glass voters? Bloomberger is going to go thru 500 million dollars trying to buy the WH and he’ll not even get close to the rat nomination. JMHO

I think Mrs Clinton steps in with a ton of money as well . . . and buys another nomination from democrats

“Bernie supporters will walk, if Bloomberg is the nominee - they were booing Mayor Pete the other night. It’s ‘Bernie or Bust’ with those people”

absolutely ... especially if bernie arrives at the convention with the most committed delegates, but not enough to achieve an outright majority, at which point the 850 super-delegates kick in after the first, failed, ballot and subsequently nominate the super billionaire, mini-mike ...

“you think Bernie’s supporters realize that he is worth several hundred million dollars himself?”

bernie sanders’ net worth is somewhere between $2 million and $2.5 million ... he’s not that wealthy compared to most of those scumbags, e.g., Barack Obama whose net worth is $40 million net worth and the Clintons at $240 million net worth ...

Exactly, Bernie supporters won’t vote for a guy worth over 50 billion with close ties to Wall Street.

A lot of the Bernie voters are the Occupy Wall Street type. mini Mike isn’t someone they would support.

I thought I heard he was worth substantially more than that. But I do have moderate hearing damage so that is probably the reason for my confusion.

Bloomberg will get a maximum of 10-15%. Maximum. Only in some states.

Bernie did not kill himself after the upcoming Super Tuesday...

It’s ‘Bernie or Bust’ with those people.

I surely hope so. It depends upon their level of hate - which is higher - President Trump or the DNC?

[If nominated, Bloomberg] just has to GOTV in a few swing states. NC, FL, etc. That is all.
True. And it would seem that a finite amount of money would buy that.

But Trump can readily point out that

  1. BB is trying to buy the election,
  2. and that BB is using Chicom $$$ to do it.

Consequently I think that Trump will set a record for campaign fundraising if BB is nominated. I know I expect to set a personal record in that event.

And then there’s the economy:

  1. BB won’t say what economy-killing Obama policies he won’t reinstate.
  2. Nor will BB say what the Green New Deal will do to everyone who buys fuel or electricity (and who doesn’t?).

The "Green New Deal” is a “solution” for a problem which is "ten years away" - and has been for a long time. But then, modern safe nuclear power is a well understood problem now - and even controlled fusion (which has been "ten years away” since the Kennedy Administration) is looking less speculative than “AGW.” And that will throw the CO2 problem into reverse, if that is actually necessary.

I think TDS will keep the Bernie bro’s in line.

Bloomberg is a major major threat to Trump. We’ve never seen anything on the scale that Bloomberg is going to bring to the fight.

His billions will buy the silence of all the left wing groups who might otherwise attack him.
