I’ll support Barr’s position on this. Trump should stop tweeting regarding any investigation Barr is doing.
He can tweet about everything else, but in the long run it will be better if Barr is free to do his job without the Trump tweets.

Since when is the DOJ not in the Executive Branch? How can the Chief Law Enforcement officer interfere with his own direct responsibility? All of this in light of the fact that the DOJ/FBI/CIA have been hopelessly corrupt.

Barr did not help himself today. I guess Trump is going to have to personally fire everyone in the DOJ to clean out the rot. Barr seems unwilling to do it either.

Barr is correct on this. He probably went public with this sentiment, because the president has ignored his privately made request to stay mum on the issue. Everyone know Trump reads almost everything written in the press about him.
Let the legal process play out, THEN, come back in to “fix things”, as we all expect Mr. Trump to do in the end.

Does this deep state tool realize the head of the DOJ is President Trump? Trump has the legal authority to order an investigation stopped, started, or even to decide to conduct it personally?
If a President does it for a corrupt personal reason, the remedy is impeachment.
Barr has been here a year and not a single charge has been brought, he has not executed any search warrants, he has not empaneled a Grand Jury. Nothing. If he got off his dead ass and supervised his department, the tweets wouldn’t be needed. The entire Roger Stone farce and Flynn wrongdoing has been moving forward under Barr and he hasn’t lifted a finger to stop it.
