.....So I headed over an hour and a half before the doors were scheduled to open (which was 4 hours before Trump was set to take the stage) and the line already stretched a mile away from the entrance to the arena. As I waited, I chatted with the folks around me. And contrary to all the fears expressed, they were so nice! I was not harassed or intimidated and was never in fear of my safety even for a moment. These were average everyday people. They were veterans, school teachers, and small business owners and they had come from all over the place for the thrill of attending this rally. They were upbeat and excited. In chatting, I even let it slip that I was a democrat and the reaction was “Good for you! Welcome!”

As I left the rally ... I knew that there was no way Trump was going to lose in November. Absolutely no way. I truly believe that it doesn’t matter who the Democrats nominate: Trump is going to trounce them. If you don’t believe me, attend one of his rallies and see for yourself. Don’t worry, they really won’t hurt you........
Today, I voted in the New Hampshire Democratic Primary for Pete Buttigieg....But tomorrow, I’ll be changing my voter registration from Democrat to Independent and walking away from the party I’ve spent the last 20 years in to sit in the middle for a while.

Some people are just getting FED UP with all of the hate going on AND they realize it is really their side so full of hate!!! They NEVER actually SEE our side attacking people or destroying property, people with even half a brain start to wake up!!

Totally agree!~~ this was a great article...not because she said she was now voting for Trump (because she doesn’t say that). It is a great article because she actually took the time to understand the other side and learn a little...I respect her and appreciate she took the time to explore beyond her bubble with a truly open mind and heart.

Great story. But why did he even vote in the demoncrat election? Why not just turn in a blank slate?
I read her story and nowhere did she say she was going to vote for Trump. She said she’d change to an Independent and said she believed Trump will win. she did not say she would be voting for him.
