This makes me worry about PDJT’s personal safety.
They are controlled by hate, anger, and, above all, fear. They know that it’s only a matter of time before the president’s investigations expose them, so everything that comes out of their mouths has one purpose - get the country to think this president is evil.
This causes them to be over the top with name calling, complaining, obstructing, disagreeing....all things negative. They can’t possibly be the rational loyal opposition and work with him - he has to go, or they’re in big trouble.
This has caused the dems to be completely looney tunes and people are recognizing that pure hate is NOT a good foundation for a party.

Naw, they will pull it out with a restart, and a burst of power in the last minute, just skimming the treetops as they regain control.
Aw, those plucky folks over at the DNC, they know all the savvy things to do in what would be an overwhelming emergency for anybody else.

Simple: they turned too far politically Left, and are still suffering from the fallout of Hillary Clinton’s failed 2016 Presidential bid. And President Trump has trolled the Left into showing their political insanity, too.
Short answer: they don’t have a message to run on that voters will like
Biden should never have been able to get the VP nod after his history of plagiarism, poor campaigning skills etc.. Liawatha likewise, her lying to Harvard should have prevented her from getting a senate seat. Each of these surviving candidates is extremely flawed.
A functioning media would have removed these people from government. It would have allowed others to take their place. Somewhere out there is a Democrat politician that might be a serious challenge to Trump. But they never got the chance because the media was too busy propping up unqualified people so that politician never attained those stepping stone positions.
Add to this that none of these candidates can think on their feet. The media coordinates the democrat message. We have all seen the montages of different talking heads using the exact same words. The candidates can't conceive a message on their own. They also live in fear of responding on their own because of political correctness. One wrong utterance can doom a democrat now.
That is a big reason they want Trump to stop tweeting. He gets inside their OODA loop and because they require all of this coordination they are slow to respond. By the time the democrats do respond Trump has already moved on to six other things.

Not going to happen. If you thought blacks were migrating towards Trump now, run a gay guy against him. The Rats run the risk of blacks permanently going over to the republican party. As for the himophobe angle, when Trump wipes the floor with Mayor Pete three times in the debates, nobody will think he lost because he was gay. He lost because he was inexperienced, unaccomplished, and a lightweight.
I remember an old saying about something or other; can’t recall what it was, but the saying says “our best is none too good”. Were they referring to Amy Club Car, I wonder?
Fearless prediction: it will be Pete. They’ve already had the first person of color and the first person of gender, the next step is the first person of LGBTQness. (His VP candidate will be Latina.) He’ll lose, they know he’ll lose, but they think that they can forever stain the deplorables as haters, the same way they think that they could forever stain the President as impeached.
IMO, the Media/Democrats know they will lose the Presidency, so they are concentrating on a rear-guard maneuver, trying to save the down-ticket (Congressmen and Senator) Party members from being slaughtered as well:
