MANCHESTER, N.H. President Trump spoke for an hour to an enthusiastic crowd of more than 11,000 at the Southern Hampshire University Arena on Monday night under banners that read Promises Made and Promises Kept. Two nights earlier, this same venue hosted the New Hampshire Democratic Partys 100 Club dinner.
We have more in this arena than all the other candidates in the Democratic Party, Mr. Trump said. One candidate today had 104 people.
The crowd laughed.
I see them campaigning down the street. Its really boring stuff, Mr. Trump added. We are going to defeat the radical, socialist democrats. We are going to win New Hampshire in a landslide.
To this, the crowd chanted: U.S.A.! U.S.A.!
Kimberly Guilfoyle, Donald Trump Jr. and Vice President Mike Pence warmed up for the president.
Tomorrow there is a group of self-proclaimed and closeted socialists running against Donald Trump, Ms. Guilfoyle said, which prompted loud booing from the crowd.
In my next life I want to come back as the son of a Democrat because you can do anything you want. If I did what Hunter did, I would be in jail right now, Donald Trump Jr. said.
Nancy Pelosi can rip up all of my fathers accomplishments, he added, but she cant rip up your spirit. And under my father, America will never be a socialist country.
Mr. Pence came from a Cops for Trump event at the Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside. Cops are for Trump because Trump is for cops, Mr. Pence told the Manchester crowd.
For some attendees, this was their first Trump rally. Shane Stocker, a 45-year-old jet engine maker for G.E. Aviation from Lebanon, N.H., waited in line for an hour.
I do think hes one of the best presidents weve had in a while, he said

Thanks for posting.
I think several FReepers were able to attend this wonderful rally.
Wow, there’s no snark, derision, mocking or laughing at the people who attended the event. Did you excise all the bad stuff?
I hope the Donald rallies in SC next. Last time he was 3 hours north of me. I’ll go this time, where ever.
Love these “Reports from the Hinterlands” NY Times pieces.
The really great news was this from campaign manager Brad Parscale with the numbers from the rally: 52,559 Tickets, 24,732 Voters Identified (41% From NH), 17% Didnt Vote in 2016, 25.4% Democrats!
No. I subscribe to the NYT (some conservatives need to for opposition research) and read the whole thing. The article just let Trump supporters express their views without commentary. I'll give the NYT some credit for this.
Well, you’re right, except for the “Admirers” part of the headline. “Supporters” would have been/is the correct word to use in this context, but, the NYT just can’t help themselves.
That is truly astonishing! This was a target-rich audience for them to mock the rubes.
Maybe the non-stop “Fake News” charges hurled at them and CNN (as well as their general business decline) are having an effect on them? Is it possible?
Yeah, the word “admirers” in the title put my detectors on full alert. I thought it was going to be downhill from there.
Impressive.
Lebanon is near Dartmouth College and the whole area tends to be very liberal.
Ya mean there is still someone out there who don't know what the lying Democrats are all about? Amazing.
Did anyone notice the selection of crowd photos the NYTs selected to publish shows a vast majority of men in the pictures with only a sprinkling of women? Thats deliberate.
Other sources show the crowd with about equal numbers of men and women.
