A federal judge on Monday indefinitely postponed the sentencing date for President Trumps former national security adviser Michael Flynn on charges of lying to the FBI in the Russia investigation.
The move by Judge Emmet Sullivan comes a day after federal prosecutors filed a rare Sunday motion to delay a number of approaching deadlines that would ultimately make Flynns Feb. 27 sentencing unlikely. The delay also comes weeks after Flynn withdrew his guilty plea.
In their filing, prosecutors argued that Flynns former attorneys should testify after he claimed to have received ineffective assistance from them. Flynn had previously hired the premier D.C. law firm, Covington & Burling. Federal lawyers also asked the judge to order that Flynn has his attorney-client privileges in his communications with Covington & Burling waived.

Reading your comments on General Flynn I get the impression that there's something else unrelated that sticks in your craw about him that leans you toward never giving him the benefit of the doubt.
One thing that sticks in my craw about him is that he was a paid propagandist for the totalitarian Islamic regime in Turkey even while he was working as a senior advisor for Donald Trump's campaign.

The audacity of this was breathtaking. The items linked above was published in a notorious leftist/globalist propaganda rag on Election Day in 2016.
I'm still trying to figure out why so many Freepers have fallen for this guy's act. He's got "Deep State" written all over him.
Absolutely not.
I also don't trust someone like Mike Flynn who worked in that Swamp for years.
Contrast my posts here (along with those of a few others) with those from many Freepers who have some kind of bizarre fixation on defending Flynn even to the point of claiming that facts he attested to in his own sworn legal documents aren't true.
Trump wasn’t impeached. It messed up the Judge’s sentencing plans.
At some point wars turn from being what ever they were about to being Red Army vs. White Army - the origins of the conflict are forgotten, there is no way to stay on the sidelines, or try to use nuance to dissect the situation. You have to go either Red of White.
That's where we are now in the USA, so Flynn is Team Red, and Team Red will support him. It's just that simple, I think.
Can you tell us why “it will”?
Powell herself has offered zero argument why “it will.”
Does Flynn have any independent assessment of his own situation, or is it all “my lawyer said so”?
Why are people so confident in offering what will happen, but never offer why they think so?
Ok - now that you mention this I think I do remember you saying this previously. Thanks for answering.
