Block all remittances to Mexico unless it’s a proved business transaction.

Used to work with many immigrants and also some very smart green card types who were living here indefinitely. This is a regular practice .... and it’s disgusting.
Most of them also do NOT intend on Staying here forever. They’re building up their nest eggs back home as well through these remittances. It’s thievery.

No.

Others disagree with you and have provided sources to back it up. Your source?

I have posted on FR for a couple of decades that one of Mexico’s greatest exports is workers to the US and one of its greatest imports is money from those workers.

What you are actually advocating is a tax on wire transfers to Mexican banks. That is in effect a tax on exports prohibited by the Constitution

It ain’t going to happen.

“Anyone receiving public assistance who does this should have it revoked immediately.”

Back during Bush the Elder the City of Costa Mesa in Southern California started booting illegal aliens out of taxpayer financed public housing.

Jack Kemp, Secretary of HUD, flew out here and forced Costa Mesa to back down, while accusing them of being racist, xenophobic, the usual litany of vile accusations that the No Borders GOP shares with the hard Left.

This, and the 1994 Prop 187 fight in which Bush junior joined Kemp and Bennett in siding with the Illegal Alien lobby, was one of the early warnings of just how much of an enemy to average America the GOP establishment was and is.

It’s also why California flipped from being Reagan Country into an Obama Orc fortress. Because when it could have been saved the Bush crowd shoved it over the cliff. And none of our conservative celebrities on radio uttered a peep of protest.

Some illegals have a wife in Mexico and one up here. This isn’t uncommon. It’s just one more bit of the social chaos that comes along with turning a blind eye to illegal immigration.

But don’t worry, this doesn’t harm the GOP donor class, so it’s not a problem.

The financial bank transfer is no different from an international commercial transfer
