Perhaps the pressure is getting to him.
On Sunday, Joe Biden snapped at a voter in New Hampshire, calling him (sic: her) a “lying, dog-faced pony soldier.”
The dust-up came after the voter asked Biden, “How do you explain the performance in Iowa and why should the voters believe that you can win a national election?"
"You ever been to a caucus?" Biden replied.
After the voter said she indeed had attended a caucus, Biden shot back: "No you haven’t. You’re a lying dog-faced pony soldier."
"You gotta be honest,” he continued. “I’m gonna be honest with you. It was a little bit confusing in Iowa. But let’s assume it was all exactly right."
Biden told the unknown voter Iowa has a poor record picking presidential winners. The comments were first flagged by Yahoo News’ Jon Ward.
Biden was speaking at the first of two Sunday campaign events in Hampton, New Hampshire. The latest polling from the Boston Globe/Suffolk University is tracking Biden in fourth place, only one point ahead of Sen. Amy Klobuchar.

Last night on SNL’s cold open “NH Debate” the guy playing Biden (not Harrelson but a SNL alum) was great. He was asked how he was going forward after the crushing defeat in Iowa. He said some line like he was going to have some trouble at first, but then would do what Joe Biden does best. Kind of quietly sneak up from behind. Very funny.

Heck, that kind of threat might even cause a person to attempt to impeach a sitting president or even rip up the House copy of the SOTU speech right behind the president.
In the past you could just make these problems "disappear".
Now the deep state "fixers" are all lawyered up and facing their own prosecution.

I suspect old Joe was confused and thinking of Dog Soldiers - he got the ‘dog’ & ‘soldiers’ in there, just messed up the order. He’s old enough to probably have met a few personally /s
So what was a Dog Soldier?
The Dog Soldiers or Dog Men (Cheyenne: Hotamétaneo’o) are historically one of six Cheyenne military societies. Beginning in the late 1830s, this society evolved into a separate, militaristic band that played a dominant role in Cheyenne resistance to the westward expansion of the United States in Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, and Wyoming, where the Cheyenne had settled in the early nineteenth century.[1]
After the deaths of nearly half the Southern Cheyenne in the cholera epidemic of 1849, many of the remaining Masikota band joined the Dog Soldiers. It effectively became a separate band, occupying territory between the Northern and Southern Cheyenne. Its members often opposed policies of peace chiefs such as Black Kettle. In 1869, most of the band were killed by United States Army forces in the Battle of Summit Springs. The surviving societies became much smaller and more secretive in their operations.
In the twenty-first century, there has been a revival of the Dog Soldiers society in such areas as the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation in Montana and among the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes in Oklahoma.
