It wasn’t 2012 Presidential loser Mitt Romney’s faith that caused him to vote to impeach President Trump, whom he once begged to rescue him from political oblivion. While Romney, who undoubtedly entertained visions of succeeding a President Trump after his vote helped remove from office, says it was his faith that caused him to believe Trump really did abuse his power to pressure the Ukrainians to dig up dirt on the Bidens, more likely it was because that Romney wanted to put an end to an administration that might expose his link to the Bidens and Burisma,

This notion by the writer is contradicted by the fact that Mitten’s vote made, and could not have made, one iota of difference in the President being acquitted. Mittens knew that when he voted. In fact waited to announce his vote until it was certain to have no impact on the outcome. It was a petty, vindictive, and sanctimonious futile gesture of the kind so very typical of Mittens.
Which is why POTUS needs to appoint a special prosecutor to dig into this mess.
The Senate will do nothing as usual and the DOJ and FIB cannot be trusted.
I wouldn't bet against you on that one. The same way there were a whole lot of people on both sides of the political aisle who breathed a sigh of relief when Epstein died, there's some dead men walking here too.

I think this illustrates the sleaziness of the CIA and other American Intelligence agencies. There was 7Billion American taxpayers dollars that went off to Ukraine and disappeared. Why does nobody care where it went? Who got payed off by this money. Is the money still out there like some big slush fund ready to buy off corrupt people out side of our country and inside as well.

The point is now if Trump does have Romney investigated, the press will just say that Trump is being “vindictive”. Therefore, it stands to reason that Romney voted to convict to innoculate him from such an investigation.

I thought the same thing. It wouldn’t surprise me if he announces he’s running for President so Democrats will give him cover against an investigation.
Keep this in mind....Burisma is only ONE company in ONE country that the US sends foreign aid to every year. That means that there are BILLIONS upon BILLIONS in foreign aid sent to many many countries around the world with their own versions of Burismas!! How many lobbyists, politicians, former Deep State operatives are in DC taking their “fair share” of that foreign? Folks...,THAT’s what the impeachment is ALL about! Don’t think for a minute that it’s only the Democrats! They’ve benefited the most because they had (until 2016) control of the executive branch of government but the GOP have completely ignored this while they controlled the legislature! This sticks far beyond any of us can possibly imagine!!
