Elizabeth Warren: ‘Decent and Honorable’ Romney ‘Did the Right Thing’

Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) said Wednesday on MSNBC that Sen. Mitt Romney’s (R-UT) vote to convict President Donald Trump on the first article of impeachment was “the right thing to do.”

When asked what she thought of Romney’s speech on the Senate floor, Warren said, “I thought I was listening to a decent and honorable man who stood up and did the right thing.”

Tell that to the Utah legislature. There will be a fight even through the case law has been decided as you say. The bill is in the Utah Legislature despite the way federal law actually is.

If its passed, there likely will be a court case on it.Maybe it will go to SCOTUS, who knows? But the People of Utah want to take the GOP away from exclusive control of the Mormon Church.
