Two Iowans who returned recently from China are undergoing testing for novel coronavirus, according to a Wednesday afternoon news release from the Iowa Department of Public Health.

once again not good news...the % in serious condition is stuck in 13-14% ..and it is actually higher if you take the deaths out of the current cases (14.1 vs 13.8)
again the percentage should be falling if they are now testing more mild cases and/or people are getting better...but it’s not

I had that thought too. They’d vaccinate the chinese with an annual ‘flu’ vaccine and then release it on the other asians.

BUT ***speculation only**** if it is a weapon could be be designed to mutate quickly to a less severe form to let friendly troops move in later?....is that why Wuhan area has the most deaths ?

South Korea - 18 cases, 1 recovery per Reuters. Daerim-dong area open market sterilization. Large local Chinese pop. (Don’t know what they’re spraying, but there’s slabs of meat hanging from the ceiling while they’re doing it.) Also checking restaurants for wild meat. Store owner says customers are reassured they are disinfected.

If they are telling the truth.
Doubling-time in most cities in China which have > 100 infections, is between 4 and 5 days.
This means they have 2 weeks tops (if it continues at that rate of spread) before basically all of China has to hunker down at home, or worse.
2 weeks to global supply chain shutdown from China.
Many downstream effects.
