As Democrats and the media remain fanatically obsessed with assembling some form of a quid pro quo from the infamous Trump-Zelensky phone call, new details have emerged regarding Burisma, the company for which Hunter Biden worked and the company that Ukraines top prosecutor had been investigating before Vice President Joe Biden had the prosecutor fired via a months-long pressure campaign. According to web archives, top Mitt Romney adviser Joseph Cofer Black, who publicly goes by Cofer Black, joined Burismas board of directors while Hunter Biden was also serving on the board.
According to The New Yorker, Hunter joined Burismas board in April of 2014 and remained on it until he declined to renew his position this past May. Meanwhile, according to Burismas website, Black was appointed in February of 2017 and continues to serve on its board. The timelines would indicate that Black and Biden worked together at Burisma, and indeed, web archives from late 2017 show Black and Biden listed simultaneously on the board.
Black joined the CIA in 1974 and eventually climbed the ranks to become director of the National Counterterrorism Center from 1999 to 2002. In 2002, President George W. Bush appointed him ambassador at large and coordinator for counterterrorism. He later worked at Blackwater as a vice chairman before joining Romneys campaign as a special adviser on Romneys Foreign Policy and National Security Advisory Team in October of 2011. In 2017, Black joined the board of Burisma.

Pierre Delecto wanted it both ways...guilty on one count, not guilty on the other. Poor Pierre...his Daddy never became President and *he* will never be President.
Much of the $5.3B in US Aid Ukraine reported as misused was given to the embassys favored NGOs.
At the time Yovanovitch (we saw her as a witness for the Dem Witchunt), was the Ambassador.
That embassy directed the police not to investigate......a "Do Not Prosecute" list was compiled.
In October 2019, Ukrainian Parliamentarian Andrey (Andriy) Derkach revealed in a press conference
that Joe Biden was paid $900,000 for lobbying efforts from Burisma Holdings in Ukraine.
The Mormon mafia stretches all over the world and involved with all sorts of nasty things.
Romney voted against Trump so he could claim his prosecution was retribution.
Investigations are in process in the Ukraine, France and Britain implicating the entire Biden family in money laundering, fraud and influence peddling. There are several sites available to prove it is so. Here is one: https://ukrainegate.info/
1999-2002 has sort of a 9/11 Sweet Spot sort of ring to it.
This sort of thing is why a real investigation of the Ukraine pot of corruption is not likely to happen. Most of the Congress is involved in the Foreign Aid kickback scheme that is highlighted by the Bidens’ relationships with Ukraine and China.Linda Graham is apparently involved, for instance. Foreign Aid kickbacks has been a reliable source of enrichment for Senators and Representatives and is part, at least, of the reason most of our Tea Party zealots became Establishment drones in their first week in office, why government elected “civil servants” become amazingly wealthy after their first probationary terms in office.
That explains how moderately wealthy ($250,000 to $400,000/year) ppl run for Congress, serve a dozen years at a salary of $175,000/year, and then leave Congress as millionaires. Why isnt this being investigated by some curious journalists? Peter Schweitzer is the only one looking into it as far as I know.
.
If that’s true, Romney better run for his Spiderhole in Utah FAST
.
THIS, in my opinion is behind his “yes” vote.
Now, if Justice investigates and finds illegal acts, Romney can claim revenge for that vote.
Mit is the sneakiest kind of serpent. He and Schiff were cut from the same cloth.
Bfl
We need to nail his ass.
Yep he is sneaky!!!!!!!!!!!!:(
1. He needs to be removed from his committee assignments.
Committee on Foreign Relations
Committee on Homeland Security & Government Affairs (HSGAC)
Committee on Health, Education, Labor & Pensions (HELP)
Committee on Small Business & Entrepreneurship
2. Investigate his relationship with Bursima and former Special Adviser Cofer Black, and other foreign investments.
3. Investigate his sons investors in the private equity firm Solamere Capital, of which Mitt was a partner.
In March 2013, Mitt Romney became chair of Solameres executive committee and a member of its investment committee, and Solameres bare website currently lists him as the executive partner group chairman.

Shortly after Romney ended his presidential bid in early 2008, Tagg Romney and Spencer Zwick, who had been the Romney campaigns financial director, formed Solamere, which was named after a ritzy part of Utahs Deer Valley where the Romney family owned a ski mansion. As the New York Times reported, Neither had experience in private equity. But what the close friends did have was the Romney name and a Rolodex of deep-pocketed potential investors who had backed Mr. Romneys presidential run. The pair brought in a third partner, Eric Scheuermann, who did have years of private equity experience. In its early days, the firm seemed part of the Romney network. At one point, Solamere shared an address with Romneys political action committee. It solicited investments from the well heeled, generally seeking a minimum of a $10 million buy-in. According to the Times, Mitt and Ann Romney sank a critical, early $10 million into their sons venture, signaling that the firm had Mitts blessing, which Tagg and his crew could use as a selling point as they chased after funding from others.
