As I explained many a time in 2012, not all FREEPERS HAD to vote for Romney:
1. If you lived in a red state, Romney was going to win that state anyway minus all Freeper votes. So vote third party.
2. If you lived in a blue state, Romney was going to win that state anyway minus all Freeper votes. So vote third party.
So your statement only applies if you live(d) in a genuine purple state.

I spelled out detail after detail about how he waffled back and forth and back and forth on abortion...and I detailed a similar story re: stem cells...although the waffles there were fewer.
Perhaps some of you would begin to hold Romney accountable for his waffling...from abortion to stem cells to Trump support.

Maybe not, but I’m still mad about it. And so many people here trashing on Utah for electing him. I don’t know where they were 10 years ago but the majority of Freepers were all down with Mitt and really nasty to anyone who wasn’t.
He was no unknown quality to Freepers either but they still were all in for Romney to get the nomination. Free Republic has no room to criticize Utah voters.

Whatever the view of people on this site in 2012, you would think that people 6 years later would not be so stupid to vote for a man that was one of Trump’s biggest PITA, as well as having just moved to Utah for the expressed purpose of running for the Senate!
