Trump will never carry California.
I guess there is a way for Trump to win California. Bernie would need to lose the DEM nomination, then decide to run as a 3rd party candidate. Many believe he would just settle for some financial gain, like in 2016, if he didn’t get the DEM nomination. But he’s not getting any younger, and this might be his last real shot at the presidency, prompting a possible 3rd party run. Even then, Trump would need to improve a lot on the 31.5% he garnered in California for 2016.
I would suggest one interesting scenario. Trump will have a billion dollars in his campaign chest by mid-summer....maybe going to 1.5 billion by the end of October (most all donated by us, the little guys).
If he took 500-million and attached it to district by district situation, paired up with particular GOP House potential folks, and selected ten districts in California (out of fifty districts in the US) to make a difference, then you’d see significant results.
An example. Say you picked Nancy’s district...the 12th District (central bay area of SF), and they laid out the homeless issue, the crap on the sidewalks, and the spiraling of Democratic leadership....he would influence the re-election of Pelosi. The district is made up of 33-percent Asians. So you pair the district up with a female GOP Asian, and you run the Trump advertisements with her.
Nancy tends to win her elections with almost no campaign money, and with 80-percent of the vote. I would suggest in this scenario...she’d have to go and spend some money, and she’d win but only in the 60-percent range. It’s not a victory for Trump, but it would force her to go out and spend weeks campaigning in the area, and defending the homeless image of the 12th District.

If he takes the popular vote then the California electors will have to vote for him. Because California has its electors vote for whoever takes the popular vote.

I agree, but I think he needs to do a rally in Southern California. Even though he won’t win, I would like to see him increase his total vote count. I want trump to win in a landslide and also clean up with the popular vote. He needs to rally Californians to get to the polls.
