In Congress, the clown-car impeachment is coming to a screeching halt leaving President Trump to emerge victorious and Democrats in political tatters. Put in enough oil to cover the bottom of the pot when melted so about about two tablespoons I guess.

I scoop the popcorn out with a half cup measure and it is a rounded scoop so a bit over a half cup.

Pop at medium heat.

Sorry, I tend not to measure exactly except when I am making bread.
