For whatever reason, Elizabeth Warren, who has lived life as a straight female, has decided that she'll win if she can just capture that elusive transgender vote — which, at its highest estimate, accounts for about 0.6% of the American population. According to the latest Project Veritas video, at least one of her campaign staffers thinks this obsession is harming, not helping, her campaign.
Ever since she set her sights on the presidency, Warren has been cultivating the transgender vote.

That that’s even a thing tells us where 40 percent of the county is at.
But 50 percent normal and 10 percent semi normal is all we need.

It may be, but the hope of those who pander to such things is that they'll also attract the loyalty of those who support such things.
I had to fill out some applications lately and they asked me what gender I was at birth.
It was just the male or female. I checked male. But even if there was space to write something you’re probably not going to get a job or something else you want if you fight against the insane status quo.
Sometimes I write that it’s ridiculous and sometimes I don’t.
Huge opening for Republicans in saying they are for single sex spaces and single sex sports.
I cross out the word “gender” and write in “sex” on any form. People have a sex, not a gender. Things have a gender.
That would be less than 1% of the voter population.
In other words...chump change.

May she win all of the/Trans Voters, and lose the rest of the voters.
Yup, and I have remarked for years how many FReepers have an obsession with posting articles on this topic here. I have to believe they are part of the .6%.
It IS ridiculous and people in the future will look back at this and say: "Whaaaaaat the hell were they thinking?"
I would put money that there are far more chubby chaser or toe suckers or maybe even furries than there are transgendered voters. Way more. Pandering to them for anything is just silly. Virtue signal if you want to but making it a core strategic goal to win the transgender vote is patently stupid.

“Warren has been cultivating the transgender vote.” Wrong! Warren has been cultivating Transgenderism itself. She has promoted it, fertilized it, protected it, and nourished it. She loves it, she is the champion of it. With flaming passion she will fight for the parents who decide to “transgender” their own children! She celebrates the whole process, from injecting little children with puberty blocking drugs and hormones and, at last to cutting off their genitals! So wonderful! She’s the champion of satanic perversion. In another, more sane age she would be in prison. But today, she’s just another mainstream Democrat. And the official commitment of the Left , and the Democrat party is the destruction of the human family.

You can make a comment in which case they’ll think “who needs a troublemaker?” and you won’t get the job.
Or you can just choose the right box and leave it at that...and lose a little piece of your dignity each time
The best way to get a GOOD job is through family or friends. Well, it used to be.
OR have an occupation that is difficult to achieve or maintain: engineer, physicist, chemist, police, firefighter, etc.
I was thinking about Warren’s comments the other day about having a transgender child decide about who should be a good Secretary of Education and I recalled the movie “Being There” and one of it’s main subthemes or comments on sex and American politics. The protagonist, Chauncey Gardner, is basically nonsexual and that compels the Eve Rand character (Shirley MacLaine) to pleasure herself when she confessed her love for him and that he also refuses a gay encounter at the embassy party (”You wait right here. I’ll go get Warren!”). And there is the scene in which President Bobby (Jack Warden) tells his wife in a scene later in the movie that he was not in the mood, as he sensed that he could very well lose the White House soon, and his wife commented on how this never happened when he was still a Senator. Also IIRC, you even get to learn in the Jerzy Kosinski book about how Chauncey was likely the illegitimate offspring of The Old Man and servant girl and that he kept Chauncey (Chance) in the confines of his household until he died, as to suppress public knowledge of this sort of thing.
Now you have someone like Warren wanting to legitimize children (let alone adults) who deny the sex that they were naturally born with and it made me think of the comment that that movie made on the Presidency and sex.
