Pelosi was responding largely to comments made Wednesday evening by Alan Dershowitz, a celebrity lawyer on Trump's legal team, who asserted on the Senate floor that presidents cannot be impeached for actions designed to boost their reelections...

If presidents can be impeached for actions designed to boost their reelections, every president in our history should have been impeached. Pelosi's argument is simply ridiculous.

Keep in mind, Nancy's obsessed with being third in line for the presidency. She has already tasked Schiff with getting dirt on Pence.

To that end, she made sure the two Articles of Impeachment include the wording that Trump should not only be impeached, tried and removed from office.....................but that he also warrants “disqualification" to hold and enjoy any office of honor, trust, or profit under the United States............

That could allow the Dems to prevent Trump from taking office....even if reelected.
