A CNN panel is facing intense backlash on Monday night for mocking Trump supporters as "credulous boomer rubes," even sparking fierce condemnation from President Trump and his presidential campaign.
The panel, which originally aired on Saturday night during special live coverage of the impeachment trial, featured CNN anchor Don Lemon, New York Times columnist and CNN contributor Wajahat Ali, and ex-GOP strategist Rick Wilson discussing the heated exchange Secretary of State Mike Pompeo had with an NPR reporter, where he allegedly challenged the journalist to point out Ukraine on a blank map.
Wilson used the topic to mock President Trump as well as his supporters.

“The CNN reporters who can’t get any dumber” are taking it as a personal challenge! Here hold my beer! The problem these people have is they need Trump supporters to win an election. You don’t make allies by insulting the people you want in your alliance.

This is considered a reasoned argument in the Democrat World but it is about the same as a grade schooler calling someone a “poopy head”.
If someone can not find a country on a map do not blame President Trump but blame the left leaning education establishment that has determines identity politics is more important then world geography

No he doesn’t. Trump-supporters don’t watch CNN unless they are stuck at an airport gate. Don Lemon is merely reflecting the editorial view of his employer. And his employer is cheerleading for the removal of the Republican president. This is all just part of that struggle for CNN.
President Trump lives in their heads rent free and they just cannot help themselves, spewing the hatred that they do against half the country.
Why, I think the media's deliberately trying to start a civil war.
