They are also trying to get a conviction on ‘INTENT’, claiming that there doesn’t even need to be ‘high crimes’ in order to impeach and convict a president-
The Senate however has heard most of the evidence and has pretty much rightly decided that the left have no case for impeachment-
So now we gotta endure the left going through their stompy foot temper tantrums

Also, read even more closely, note the word “preferred” here. That Trump “preferred” that Ukraine do something is far different than saying, as Dems allege, that Trump *conditioned* it. I don’t think Bolton is helping Dems here (what a shocker, I know).

what bait? You think I would change my opinion of Trump if he did hold up aid? The president has 100% discretion on foreign policy and can do whatever he wants. Wjat I am doing is preparing for the next assault by the anti Trumpers (and that includes Democrats and Neocons). I don’t trust Bolton.

And Sundance ties it all together: Peek was probably the leaker, and this could be why he got rather forcefully fired. The NYT probably has had it for a week, and waited until now hoping it would convince Romnery, Collins, Murkowski etc to fully commit to bringing down Trump after Schiff and Nadler failed.
OK look - there is not a single reliable piece of information in this story OTHER than that Bolton disputes the reporting of it.
So we have Bolton calling out liars as the liars that we have long established beyond a reasonable doubt they are.
That’s it. That’s the whole story. There are zero other assertions in it that one should assume are true.
Throughout this entire impeachment Bolton not once said he supports the president over the Democrats - that is all I need to know.
Absolutely nothing Bolton says or does will matter at all to the big picture, stop worrying about him. All references to him are 100% distraction.
This CNN story is so ethically and journalistically corrupt that if the old National News Council still existed (despite its liberal leanings), it would have condemned both CNN and the NYTimes for unethical writing.
The Democrats cited in the article say that the article “proves” what they have been saying all along. BS. It proves nothing since nobody knows what is in the pre-publication version of the book except Bolton and the NSC reviewers, plus his lawyer.
Would the NYTimes print leftist anti-Trump “disinformation”, esp. at this point in the impeachment process? You bet your ass they would and do and will continue to do until successfully sued and then have their writers arrested for receiving/writing about classified information (if there is any in the “book”.
As for CNN, I’ve never seen such a journalistically corrupt, hate-filled, inaccuracy filled, operation in my life, and I’ve dealt with such types of journalism for over 50 years. They are the worst of the worst, while the Wash. Post is the home of psychopaths posing as journalists, and the NYT continues to be the enemy of America that it has been for the past few decades.
Treason and moral/journalistic corruption has no limits. These these groups prove it.

Bolton’s job was advising. I’m sure he discussed all the aailable options with him and with other advisors. The fact still remains: whatever option the President may have personally “preferred” the action he took was to release the aid without conditions. End of story.

Doubtful Bolton’s undisciplined behavior and opinion will amount to much, but the jackass hasn’t made it an easier for Trump’s defense team.

There is nothing that Bolton could possibly say, however treacherous, that will affect outcomes.
