So, if I cut my intake “by a fifth”, can I start drinking a fifth (of bourbon) to make up for it?
You mean I will only be allowed 4 lbs of meat a day????????????
It says public bodies should lead the way by offering plant-based options with all meals.
If they do this, doesn’t that mean that we would have to increase production of other farm products, to produce these plant based options they prefer?
And won’t the production of these plants increase greatly the use of water and evil fossil fuels used in farming?
Couldn’t their proposed solutions actually be counter productive?
Islay and a cigar, you may not live as long, but, you’ll enjoy the time more.
You forget that the act of making alcoholic beverages requires the fermentation process. That process releases CO2 which we find in beverages like beer, apple cider and champagne. Also, the process of distillation requires energy necessary to bring the fermented mash up to the temperature where the alcohol becomes a gas which is brought back to a liquid (bourbon, etc) through a heat exchanger. You know if they can get us to stop eating meat because of the CO2 hoax, they WILL justify the end to alcohol consumption. They have to indoctrinate our children first to start the process.
Do you mean an additional fifth?
The cheaper prices will be noticed by folks in the lower income brackets. Look for even more EBT purchases of beef & lamb products. At least they are not making the argument that animal husbandry displaces cropland. Some of these folks don’t understand the difference between pasture and farmland.
I have had to cut back due to the high cost of a steak!
That’s fine since alcohol is heavily taxed.
Amazingly that taxes cure globull warming.
