The President’s legal team focused on the indisputable facts and effectively showed the American people what Adam Schiff has been hiding from them - the TRUTH.

By giving up much of the first day, the White House gave a concise opening, relieved the jury, and pushed the main argument to Monday with a larger television audience. It was a sophisticated and effective strategy that paid off. A very strong start to their case .
All of this is political grandstanding because Democrats know they’re gonna lose.
People don’t care. Even Chuck U knows nothing is going to affect the outcome regardless of whether or not witnesses are called.
The Democrats put on a half baked case rushed through to meet a political calendar.
A presidential acquittal isn’t in doubt.
Yes..Their is a possibility the Rats may be rethinking the witness aspects of this sham, as the weekend progresses.
I think the Republican response should be that the Democrat call for witnesses is proof that the impeachment was passed on fraudulent grounds and should be dismissed.
Since the entire body of the House didn't authorize subpoena power for witnesses, the obstruction of Congress charge is invalid. Calling witnesses now is ex post facto.
The remedy for an invalid basis for witnesses in the House is not to allow witnesses in the Senate, it's to throw out the charge from the House for lack of proper predicate, and make them do it again, properly.

Neil Cavuto and his butt kissing FNC buddy,useless Chad Pergrum want more witnesses. That game ended when Pelosi, Schiff & Nadler did not summon them as they should have in the House. So...Cavuto & Pergram your antics on more witnesses are falling on deaf ears. Talk to Pelosi & company about that problem...it is a problem for the House...not the Senate!!! McConnell...end this farce right now!!!

Yep, the Dems were always going to argue the process of the Senate and my feeling is, if you are arguing process, that means you are losing.
As usual Shulmer pounds the drum of witnesses.....what THEY failed to deliver when they had their chance...and tops it off with cover-up. That’s their game currenty. They just want this to be a platform to go throughout the election season.....calling witnesses etc. would do just that.
Witnesses or not they will always say this is a coverup, not enough, and they will not accept the outcome anymore than they did the 2016 election ....they will not stop their antics and attacks witnesses or not.
They’ve said they’ll be impeaching him again anyway....so I hope the senate dismisses this....better acquits without futher witnesses.

Nor can they ask the Senate to call the witnesses the House wasn't legally authorized to call, just to keep their charge. The article of impeachment must be thrown out, and the House must be forced to do it over, properly, if they still want witnesses.

Didn’t we just see tens of thousands of pages of documents being wheeled on carts into the Senate by the House Managers? That should have been enough documents about one phone call.
The hope of the defense is that there are at least a couple of Dims that have sufficient conscience and respect for the system to vote no on this fiasco.
