In a sit-down interview with Maria Bartiromo which aired Wednesday on Fox Business Network’s “Mornings with Maria,” President Donald Trump said Virginia is “in play” for him to win in 2020.
Trump pointed to Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam’s (D) push to take away guns, arguing Northam wants to do away with the Second Amendment.
“I think Virginia is crazy where they want to take away guns,” Trump outlined. “You have a governor that’s — I just can’t believe it — but Virginia is very much in play. I think we are going to win state of Virginia. They want to take everyone’s gun away in Virginia. You can’t do it. You can’t do it. People need that for safety. They need it for hunting and … but many people need it for safety, they need it for safety.”
He continued, “They’re playing with our Second Amendment. Frankly, they’d get rid of it. I watched him in the interview. He would get rid of the Second Amendment if it was up to him. And you have many Democrats saying the same thing. They’re saying it quietly, but if they win these elections, they’re going to try to get rid of the Second Amendment. It will never happen as long as I’m here.”

He is getting people who haven’t voted in a long time or never voted.
The gun issue in VA has woken them up.
The Virginia dims aren’t just after the 2nd Amendment. Now they’re after the 1st as well trying to make it illegal to criticize their sorry asses. Tyrants gonna do what they do.

If I remember correctly, it takes a certain number of signatures on a petition to invoke a recall election in VA.
There was actually a recall movement in play with a petition. When it was clear that the signature threshold would be met, the VA legislature hastily passed a law that increased the number of required signatures to some astronomical amount, and the governor signed it into law, thereby derailing the recall effort.
These people are first order tyrants.
They’ll import as many prisoners and illegals as thy need to “win”. They’ll even vote for them.
I guarantee you that the Trump campaign is going to target VA with multiple rallies and everyone of them will have a 2A theme.
Not just NRA, but a Richmond 2A, including a black guy with a Trump flag, impersonating gubbenor northam in blackface.

The voters were motivated by their hatred of Trump. They couldn't wait to vote as a symbol of anti-Trump.
Virginia has a LONG history of being split politically.Hopefully voters will be motivated by the power grab and take this state back from the tyrants...Sic Semper Tyrannis!
