Agree on Lofgren. Must have got the impeachment gig from being an old pal of Pelosi. She’s certainly not the Dem A team.
The two hours of debate has to be drawing to a close, thank goodness.
The Mueller report wasn’t released until March 2019.
Yes, he presides somewhat as a regular judge does during a trial, but certainly has less control over the parties. The primary difference is the ‘jury’ can over ride his rulings with 51 votes. It would be pointless to rule on admissibility of evidence, as the jury would have already made that call.

They have learned from decades of dissembling that if you repeat something often enough it becomes the truth.
Unfortunately for them they are and will continue to be challenged nullifying that concept.

Cocaine Mitch is no dummy. 24 hours of argument makes everyone (including Roberts very cranky). It was easy for McConnell to give this small concession to Collins and Company (and probably planned it in advance.) JMO

I really hope they talk for the entire time. The face time with the American people is crucial and the Dems know this.
They love using video out of context as evidence, they are children. They should be spanked and sent packing.
It’ll be around 4:30 pm before they vote on the rules. Then its off to the races tomorrow.
