President Donald Trump's top Russia expert on the National Security Counsel is reportedly on leave pending a security investigation.
Andrew Peek, the NSC’s senior director for European and Russian affairs, was escorted from the White House grounds on Friday, two people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg.
Peek had been in the NSC role for just two months, after most recently working as a deputy assistant secretary of state with responsibility for Iran and Iraq.
Peek had been expected to attend the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland next week with Trump and other top aides.
However, he is currently on leave pending a security-related investigation, people familiar with the situation told Axios.

i have been following everything on free republic for so long. Thought a lot about what is going on behind the scenes, what motivates people, how things really work.
I notice as the years go by, more and more I think blackmail explains why people do what they do in the world of politics. Someone out there is doing serious investigations and keeping files. I am not a conspiracy minded person at all, I just can’t find better explanation for what is going on.
It may be that Andrew Peek is a straight arrow and being targeted for that reason alone.

As a Ukraine expert, Vindman reports to civilian Andrew Peek, who replaced Tim Morrison as the NSC’s senior director for European and Russian affairs after Morrison announced his departure last Wednesday, one day before he testified before the House impeachment proceeding.
This guy Peek looks to be about 23 years old.
DON’T THE DIMS HAVE ANYONE WHO HAS THE APPEARANCE OF BEING A MATURE ADULT...AT LEAST?????
