Controversial Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) will face an unexpected Republican challenger in this November's election — from a Muslim refugee woman like herself.
Dalia al-Aqidi, a journalist and former White House correspondent from Iraq, argues that since taking office in 2019 Omar has done nothing but seek to divide and undermine America, and that despite apparent similarities with Omar, she is nothing like the freshman Minnesota congresswoman.
"On the surface, we look the same. We're both women, refugees, Muslims, but we couldn't be further apart," al-Aqidi said in announcing her run for office.
"The difference is that while Dalia has used her life experience to expose oppression and boost the U.S, Omar has done the opposite — stoking fear, inspiring hatred, inciting violence, and embarrassing the U.S.," her campaign website states.
"To put it simply, Ilhan Omar needs to be stopped," al-Aqidi argues.

If this challenger is real, watch for Ilhan Omar to cry “Takfir! You are not a true Muslim! Where is your hijab!!?”
But Omar is in a dilemma; if she denounces Dalia al-Aqidi, then “infidels” will flock to vote for Dalia.
If Omar remains silent, Dalia will still surge in the polls.
Dalia al-Aqidi already needs protection; the skinnies will have their knives out.
Is she is willing to publicly (and truthfully) state that Sharia law has no place in the U.S.? If not, then I'd say look elsewhere.

Would you rather have Omar back again??? The choice is an easy one to me!!! This district is Muslim thanks to Bush and Obama there is NO CHANGING that Omar HAS TO GO!!!!

And that is the problem- they appear outwardly friendly- We have muslims in our area who were ‘very friendly’- one was a tire store owner, several others drove taxis for the poor, welfare people- ‘Friendliest people you’d ever want to know’
When they got busted ‘Everyone was shocked’
the tire store owner was sending money out of the country to his homeland to support terrorists- The taxi drivers had a scam going to the tune of millions- bilking medicaid and medicare - (something to do with reimbursements for miles traveled to appointments- and something else I can’t recall right now- )
Muslims, who I’m sure were ‘quite friendly’ were running a school getting millions of dollars- only there were no students- on and on it goes- Sure- all people can be corrupt- but there seems to be a special effort by immigrants in islam that come here because of the Taqiyya taught by their religion
Like you say- many of these muslims appear friendly, but they are, at their core, muslism first an people never realize it until they see their pictures in the paper and say “He was the nicest guy i ever knew- it’s just shocking’

did you not read my post following the one you responded to? I said IF there is no other choice, then Yes, I would vote for this republican muslim- I also stated that it was sad that we’ve lost entire districts to islam- and pointed out that i do not want to see that happening all over the country in various governments, so if there were several candidates to choose from i na district that wasn’;t lost to islam, this republican muslim would not be my choice no matter how sincere she appears for the reasons I’ve discussed-

Watched the video too. I’d take her over Omar, a billion times out of a billion. It’s like the difference between day and night.
Question is whether such a sensible lady can win in a district that kept electing Keith Ellison for years and then followed it up by electing an even worse Congress person in the form of Omar.
lol grow up- It’s a personal choice to make- I stated the reasons why i would not choose a muslim to represent My country- I would not trust a muslim to run this country as president either-

Yep- that’s the problem with the whole Taqiaa issue- you can never tell-
too much doubt here; taquiyah, etc. The factor that counts is the party; probably best to put a native-born American, preferably Christian, in office.
Unfortunately at this time there is no way a white Christian can win in that district it is what it is and Omar has to go!!! I half expect her to strap on a suicide belt and blow the capital building to high heaven!!! I can’t believe this jihadi woman EVER was elected, she is full of HATE for this country and Israel!!! With everything else coming out about her affairs ect. there is a very good chance she will lose her seat !!!!
