This after decades of Democrat government mismanagement in Flint. How much federal taxpayer money went down this Democrat rat hole? They were whining for more, of course.
Why would any politician solve a problem? Where’s the profit in that??
It is the sole objective of public entities to take public funds (taxes). All functions and purposes of those entities, whether perceptual or effective, are designed to legitimize the sole objective. This includes the illusion of “public safety”
If I run a political party whose power base is POOR PEOPLE, I WILL MAKE DAMN SURE I NEVER RUN OUT OF POOR PEOPLE........................

This is institutional corruption and deliberate payment of many leftist dreams. People should go to jail, but none will and there will never be enough money.

Flint’s Democrat-run government used the New Orleans plan for Hurricane Katrina recovery money as a model on how to divert funds to their corrupt pockets, businesses that would funnel kickbacks to them and the usual Democrat constituent groups. Money to fix the water department mess was used after all the nonsense above.
So you fight against that ideology by skimming off half the money for unrelated spending, spending the "good" half badly on political cronies rather than with the best company replacing the actual lead pipes and then whine about not having enough money.
This should result in actual prison time, but I doubt anyone will even be put on leave.
Reminds me of how that bankrupt sh!thole Newark NJ took federal anti-terrorism money after 9/11 and bought garbage trucks with it; when asked, the city government replied that if there was a terrorist attack there, they’d need the garbage trucks to haul away the rubble.
We are not allowed to have any expectations of moral behavior by Dems in minority areas.
Yes, any Democrat you might know is a mortal enemy of America and should be treated as just a great a threat as your local terrorist.
