On Wednesday, Gov. Pete Ricketts issued a proclamation declaring Jan. 22, 2020, as a Statewide Day of Prayer.
Wednesday is the 22nd is the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, a U.S. Supreme Court decision that the Constitution of the United States protects a pregnant woman's right to choose to have an abortion without excessive government restriction.
"Governor Ricketts’ proclamation encourages Nebraskans to pray for an end to abortion and a deepening in respect for the humanity of unborn children," a press release stated.

If only we could get Ricketts to primary the execrable RINO Never Trumper Senator Sasse.
Remember that there was 200 years of precedence before Roe.
I wish a few more states would do the same.

This is the stuff that drives the left nuts—and rightfully so.
Just work to change it. We don’t have to ask everyone in the stare to pray for it.
