A United States designated terrorist, and second to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, is deceased after he was struck with a bomb that President Trump ordered. Qassem Soleimani was struck and killed by a bomb after intelligence officials found that he was plotting several attacks on our military personnel and other interests. Not so oddly, the Left is upset that Trump took action.
Since Trump became president, the Left has had the mantra of “resist.” They hate that Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 election. The Democratic National Committee rigged the nomination process so that Hillary would be chosen and run against then-Republican candidate Donald Trump. The race was Hillary’s to lose – and she did.
The Left is still upset over the fact that their star could not beat a guy who never held public office. After the Left realized that he won and there was no changing that fact, it was time to mindlessly “resist.”
They came after Trump with a myriad of attacks. The longest was the Russian collusion investigation, Stormy Daniels, claims of sexism, racism, lies about net worth, and countless incidents of proven false reporting in both print and television news. It is astounding that Trump is still in office and running for a second term.
The barrage will continue as long as Trump is in office. It will not matter how much good he does for the country or even the world.
The Left should be happy that the leader of state-funded terrorism is dead; however, they are angry. Soleimani is responsible for thousands of Islamic terror-related deaths. Any sane individual would be happy, but Trump Derangement Syndrome prevents happiness.
It tells me that the Left genuinely does not care about America in a traditional sense. Documents from the U.S. Central Command show that from 2005-2011 approximately 500 U.S. service members were killed by Iraqi Shiite militants who were under Soleimani’s command. The number of injured and maiming of our military men and women from the Soleimani direction will never be fully known.
Democrats are outraged that Trump ordered the killing of Soleimani and that the president did not make them aware of the attack before engagement. The Left is disingenuous at best. They act as if Trump woke up one day and decided he was going to kill the number two leader in Iran without discussing this with military and intelligence officials first.
On December 31, 2019, the American embassy in Iraq was attacked by terrorists after Soleimani issued the directive. The killing of Soleimani is not a case of undue provocation, but of standing up for ourselves – a vital attribute long forgotten under former President Obama.
However, when the Left’s ideology is “resist at all costs,” all common sense goes out of the window. The Left is no longer for the greater good of America. They are for their political gains.
The Left hates the founding of America and wants to change us fundamentally. The United States of America represents strength, boldness, backbone, liberty, freedom, and individualism. Leftists find virtues in juxtaposing traditional American values.
So now that we have a president who stands up for America, the Left has to resist. It is part of who they are. After all, Trump represents a particular portion of Americans that are opposed to the Left. Therefore, “RESIST!”
It does not matter what Trump does. He could find definitive proof about the death of Jeffrey Epstein himself, but that would not matter. The Left has one goal in mind, and that is to resist Trump no matter how beneficial his decision is for the country.
Leftists would instead wreck the country than build it back to greatness. In their eyes, Obama’s destruction was tremendous, and Trump’s restoration is terrible.
You know as well as I do that if we changed “President Trump” to “President Clinton” in this scenario that the Left would be elated that she bombed and killed the world’s worst terror leader. However, when “resist at all costs” is your group mentality, then the greater good of America no longer exists – only your political interests.

If Pres. Trump had advised the Democrats beforehand of this attack, I imagine things might have gone differently & definitely not in our favor. If they want to be included in the game plans, then they need to start acting like Americans.

Sure, they'd have vacillated between "let the strike succeed then label the President an assassin" and "leak to an Iranian contact the general should flee, deny President Trump any success..." Given that former President bammy literally sent the Iranians pallets of cash I believe the 'rats would have come down on the side of the latter option. They'd have wanted to try to curry further favor with the Iranians.
Right now all real Americans should (seriously) treat every Democrat as a hostile foreign agent.
we saw the same media/democrat reaction when Trump ordered the killing of Abu-Bakr al-Baghdadi in October. The WaPo referred to him as the “austere religious scholar with wire-rim glasses...” They took enough heat for that to rewrite their headline.
