Who do you want to guard our embassies? Perhaps we could contract it out to the locals. That worked so well last time. The U.S. Marines are tasked with guarding our embassies.
Why weren't there any Marines at Benghazi?
Oh, right -- it's because that wasn't an embassy. It was a "diplomatic mission" that was being guarded by private security contractors because it was a front for a CIA weapons-trafficking operation that was being conducted covertly -- and probably illegally, too.
And "Ambassador" Christopher Stevens wasn't a real ambassador at all. He was a CIA operative.

Guarding our Baghdad embassy does not require thousands of US troops stationed in multiple cities all over Iraq. Obviously.
