Did CNN just accuse President Trump of "murder?" On this morning's New Day, co-host John Berman called the killing of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani "murder," before adding, "assassination." Given that the strike on Soleimani was reportedly ordered by President Trump, Berman's choice of language would seem tantamount to accusing President Trump of a capital crime.
Here’s the exact quote. Talking about the last impeachment and Bill Clinton’s 1998 air strikes against Iraq, Berman said of last night’s attack: “Not to diminish the importance of the air strikes in Iraq at the time, but that’s nothing compared to the murder, the assassination of General Soleimani. And this comes during the Senate impeachment trial.”

The World Trade Center occupants and first responders did not do anything to Osama Bin Laden but he arranged for them to be slaughtered. Did CNN want us to talk nicely to him and see if he would volunteer to be part of Mister Rogers Neighborhood?

So what’s your point? The dead Quds leader had no problem murdering his own people, American and Iraqi citizens. Why should I give to shits about this butcher other than to put a couple rounds through his head?

The "intelligence community" killed dozens of people around the world since the 1950s. Operatives, dictators, various leaders. How many Americans died because of the revenge for that?
This guy had bloody hands and was not anything but a thug. The elements who want freedom in Iran are held back by the types he represents. He would have gladly slaughtered Americans, Israelis and other Iranians who disagreed with his views. Now he's gone.
