US embassy staff and the US ambassador in Baghdad have been evacuated, according to two unnamed Iraqi Foreign Ministry officials cited by Reuters, as hundreds of Iraqi protesters swam the embassy compound.

Iraqi supporters of a powerful Iranian-backed militia were attacking the outside of the fortified zone that surrounds the US embassy compound in Baghdad, protesting against American air strikes that killed 25 fighters from the group, news agencies reported.

Is is plausible that Aholes within the Iran regime ordered and paid for an attack on the US Embassy in Baghdad as a retaliation for the pain that POTUS authorized on them?

Absolutely, it’s plausible.

But understand there’s more to the story. Much more and it’s not what the Lefty press is trying to make people think.

The Deep State wants a war, they need a war. You better believe they have their hands in this.

Iranians didn’t throw the Shah’s ass out. Carter did. When Iranians tried to throw the mullahs out, they replied with live ammo, same as every other Persian ruler down through the ages, until Carter came along and made the Shah submit.

The mullahs hijacked the Iranian Revolution. They have imposed their own tyranny on Iran and used secret police and other tactics to repress the people.

During my two years in Iran, the US influence could be seen everywhere. We had over 70,000 Americans in Tehran representing an entire range of businesses with the military being heavy. Bell Helicopter had a major presence. Alcohol was readily available. You could buy Playboy at the newsstand. There were more women in the Iranian Parliament than in the US Congress. Iran had over 50,000 students in US colleges, the most of any country at the time. Women dressed in Western garb. Israel had a trade mission in Tehran and there was a sizeable Jewish population there. That all changed virtually overnight when Khomeini arrived in early February.

Reagan, Bush 41, Clinton, Bush 43, and Obama all missed the boat. They allowed the mullahs to take hold and cement their grip on the people. Obama failed to support the Green Movement in 2009-10. Sad story as Iran has become the biggest state sponsor of terrorism.

There has been a huge brain drain from Iran beginning in the early 1990s. The educated young people are leaving.

Regime change should be our objective, but even Trump has said it is not, which is the conventional wisdom of our foreign policy establishment.

I would not be surprised if we learn elements of the Deep State are working with Iran using Hezbollah (they are not protesters) to attack U.S. Soil in Baghdad, Iraq.

The media hates President Trump and our Republic so bad they are taking Iran’s talking points.

IMHO what we in the West call “radical Islam” is actually mainstream Islam, in which every sect has the common goal of destroying Israel at its core.

The news, even Fox apparently, are misleading everyone. They are not “in the embassy compound”. They have climbed a 2 foot wall and are in a sort of “no man’s land” in front of an 8 foot wall topped with barbed wire. They’re lighting their dirty underwear on fire like the sand cockroaches they are. Let them try to get over the next wall and be met by a hail of bullets. I’d love to see it.
