Former FBI Director James Comey said President Trump has become a “shrunken, withered figure,” and urged Americans to challenge his actions.
Comey outlined the urgency in what he defined as the “fourth, and final, stage,” of dealing with Trump’s rhetorical attacks on his critics as part of an op-ed published Monday in The Washington Post.
“What’s it like to be personally and publicly attacked by the president of the United States? Like many others in and out of government, I have some experience,” wrote Comey, who was fired by Trump and has feuded with the president for more than two years.
“It’s hard on good people, especially those who don’t have savings to fall back on,” he continued. “But the truth is that, in many ways, it is not as hard as you might think, especially as it continues endlessly, leaking power, shrinking its source.”

“It no longer feels as though the most powerful human on the planet is after you. It feels as though a strange and slightly sad old guy is yelling at you to get off his lawn, echoed by younger but no less sad people in red hats shouting, ‘Yeah, get off his lawn!’ ” Comey wrote.

“I don’t mean to suggest Trump is not dangerous. The horrific betrayal of allies in northern Syria demonstrates that an impetuous and amoral leader can do great harm, even in shrunken form,” Comey adds.
“For the fourth, and final, stage, we need to fight through our fatigue and contempt for this shrunken, withered figure. Spurred by the danger he poses to our nation and its values, we have to overcome the shock and numbness of earlier stages. We must not look away,” Comey wrote.

Probably more psychological than that. Whenever he looks in a mirror Trump’s face is staring back from deep inside his subconscious. Doesn’t want to or can’t recognize that the shrunken and withered outlines are himself.

Comey was/is part of the conspiracy to take down the duly elected President of the United States. He is guilty of treason. Comey must be held accountable for his actions, which threaten the very existence of the Republic.

Comey knows what is coming. He is trying to shape the public narrative to make himself a victim. Lisa Page has come out recently doing the same thing. This is Lawfare’s defense strategy, i.e., Trump is using his power to target members of the FBI who were just doing their job.

Trump cannot do anything to act against the deep state at this time (during his- 8 years), but he may be preparing the ground for future, hopefully more successful, results. By which I mean getting enough federal and SC justices in place to wage legal warfare over the coming decades.
So, in this sense, Trump is akin to WWI, but his successor(s) are going to have to wage WWII to actually achieve a far reaching, post revolution II republican government.
Comey is the world’s tallest midget.
Trump doesn’t control the justice system. He is dependent upon Barr and Durham to do their jobs. Failing that, his only recourse is full disclosure of all the documents to the public and seek justice in the court of public opinion. It will mean taking down the pillars of the Republic.
Fourth and final stage? How much treason did they plot? If this doesn’t work, then blah. If he continues fighting, then blah. And so on. Regardless, the dude is a loon.
