Democrats' Stalingrad: The Tide Has Turned on Impeachment
pjmedia.com ^ | 12/27/2019 | mark ellis

Over the coming weeks, one question will be paramount in the wake of the Democrats’ disastrous impeachment fail. Should President Trump wage a pitched and protracted battle in the upcoming Senate trial? Or will cooler heads--like Senator Lindsey Graham’s--prevail upon him to accept a perfunctory hearing or outright dismissal?

Fox News host Laura Ingraham posited a paraphrase of that question to Ken Starr before Christmas. She asked the former Clinton scandal independent prosecutor whether Trump should simply “declare victory” in light of Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s passive-aggressive call to sit on the House articles like a distraught hen sits on an egg sucked dry by a barnyard viper. Starr opined that the president should move on, sparing the nation the continued sociopolitical angst and division this travesty has wrought.

Not so fast. Graham, fresh from a White House meeting, declared that the president was “mad as hell.” That may indicate that Trump will aggressively move to obtain the exoneration he believes he so richly deserves. But Graham has also said that he doesn’t want to give the Schiff/Nadler impeachment senatorial credibility that it does not deserve.

The 2019 impeachment saga remains extremely fluid. This piece could be rendered obsolete before it is ever published. But it seems we have a temporary status quo. Democrat impeachers have left the building, gone home to face the damage they’ve done to themselves. GOP point men like Rep. Matt Gaetz (for future president?) have done irreparable damage to the flimsy impeachment cause, relentlessly characterizing the debacle for the partisan and pseudo-constitutional circus it is.

Now it’s the Senate’s turn, and Majority Leader McConnell is waiting. But something happened on the way to the upper chamber. Pelosi is hanging fast to the last shred of her party’s denuded credibility. There’s no two ways about it—she has

I think I would pound Pelosi and Democrats until the articles of impeachment are forwarded to the Senate. Then I would drag out reviewing the articles and evidence presented. Then I would hold a vote exonerating Trump and keep hammering the Democrats over their BS.

I see it this way; little to gain and a lot to lose. If a full trial in the Senate would 100% result in exoneration and exposure of this miscarriage of justice I would be all for it. But you can never guarantee an outcome, especially one as favorable as we believe it should be. Remember the IC undoubtedly has something on many of the Senator/Jurors and would like nothing more than to engineer a defeat of Trump to save their own skins from Durham. So I would take the sure win with a Senate already poised ready to do so with wide public support.

Yes, he’s a winner and those that are always telling him what he should do are no more than armchair chit-chat cucks.

President Trump plays the long game.

I think his main goal will be to win the House and Senate in the next election. That would enable the repair of many programs (privatize healthcare?) and more aggressive moves to drain the swamp.

That goal may also align nicely with his personal goals of striking back hard.

At the risk of being repetitious but Trump isn't going to back down. As I have pointed out, it's that old NYC mindset "Ya wanna play f**k around we'll play f**k around''. He's going to fight this. The Democrats still don't get it or they just don't care. They've pissed on hornets nest and they can't get out if it.

That's not the problem.

The problem is GOP Senators who would be "cornered" by a full exposure of the events of 2015-2016 including but not limited to use of the Ukraine ATM.

The only people who can kick Trump out are 20 GOP Senators. Worry about how THEY will react to being cornered.

Schiff Goes for Total Coup, Now Targeting Pence in Impeachment Effort
westernjournal.com ^ | 12/27/2019 | jared harris
FR Posted on 12/28/2019, 4:52:27 PM by bitt

.....looks like (on orders from Nanzi) Adam Schiff is hinting that he’s going for a total sweep of the White House by involving the vice president as well. The move would seemingly put Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, in charge. Schiff hinted at the bombshell turn in a Dec. 18 talk with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow. Maddow asked Schiff about his continuing role in the impeachment of President Donald Trump

“You seem to still be pulling on some threads here, including some potentially provocative and consequential ones,” she said. “I’m thinking specifically about a letter that you sent to the vice president’s office this week in which you raise questions as to what the vice president knew about the president’s behavior, the president’s scheme in Ukraine, and thereby essentially his potential involvement in any coverup of that behavior by the president.

They had a BS poll saying 55 percent of Americans want trump impeached and thrown out of office. That is what the news is airing.

Partner, our national "MSM is so pitiful that they can not write a thing that is worth the paper it is written on".

Even the pollsters do not know what in the world is going on since they can not even chew gum and walk at the same time.

They will pay big time.

I like the way you think. Make it hurt the Dems, a lot.

Besides coercing the justice department to do its job and indict and imprison Democrats responsible for treasonous acts, go after Democrat-run departments and organizations. Move them out of the D.C. area and spread them into flyover country, thereby spreading the wealth and limiting their ability to get together. Remove federal aid and handouts to liberal entities. Enhance aid to conservative causes.

Oh, and ensure that Hillary and Barak go to prison.
