It probably happened the way he said it did, but not how\when he said it happened.
Joe is slow, but maybe he got everybody on the Ukraine corruption gravy train as a way to make sure all would uniformly stand firm against charges and not turn on each other. Is he that smart? Could it be he's not as stupid as he seems?

Past two weeks listening to "Killing England", Bill O'Reilly's account of the American Revolution. It's fascinating history with great vignettes on King George, Ben Franklin, John Adams, G. Washington, and so forth.
And learning about Thomas Jefferson, he was a great writer, but shunned speaking roles where John Adams excelled. In this way he was more like the reserved Obama, who has no flair for glad handing, baby kissing, and small talk.
Trump's "talent stack" (as Scott Adams calls it) is absolutely incredible. Trump can think on his feet and can turn a phrase like no President ever could. And he has world-class accomplishments in his long career as an entrepreneur, global tycoon -- a man of brilliant action and love of country.
Obama, Biden, Pelosi, and Schumer are all "little people" (evil leprechauns) by comparison. Small time crooks who hit the big time. Dark people who sold out their souls and whose only solace is the comradery of other con artists.
I sincerely hope, as you say, laughing at Biden "will shortly become an American pastime". Still, for many to laugh and see the real truth behind Joe Biden requires some serious inner reflection.
I was pleased last night to see a statement by Denzel Washington (retweeted) showing him praising Trump's accomplishments. For a man of that character to step up like that -- knowing the harsh criticism and black-listing he'll get from Hollywood -- really warms my heart.

It wouldn't be a judicial subpoena but a Senate subpoena. And ignoring Congressional subpoenas has been pretty widespread lately.

In fact, Burisma Holdings actually name-dropped Hunter Biden when requesting help from the State Department. According to CD Media last week former Ukrainian official Oleksandr Onyshchenko said Hunter Biden was receiving “off the books” payments from Burisma in the millions.
On Tuesday CD Media posted leaked records of payments to Hunter Biden from Burisma Holdings totaling millions.

First thing they should do in the trial is to put up a big screen with loud volume showing the clip of Biden then read the transcript of Trump asking to look into this corruption
