It is interesting to me who the same structures pop up in Africa, South America, and on out into the Pacific.

I suspect possible tectonic shifts to answer for part of it.

Not sure if that’s even possible considering the time frames, but possibly.

Maybe 'the same structures pop up' because they were based upon formulae natural to the minds of the times - or at least to some, and then shared.

Maybe travel, and not 'tectonics', had something to do with it.

There's so much that we don't know - but that doesn't mean that we can't re-discover it all.
