Alaska Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski told a local television affiliate that she's "disturbed" by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's plans to use "total coordination" with the White House to set out President Trump's impeachment trial. Murkowski, who remains a wild card in a potential Senate trial, has been tight-lipped on the effort. However, she shared her concerns with McConnell's recent comments in an interview with KTUU in Anchorage, Alaska.

Anchorage population at 200,000 is almost a third of the state total of 700,000, but only the downtown area votes Democrat.
Juneau the state capital has only 31,000.
So where do all these RINOs come from who reelect Murkowski?

Judging by the comments here, it appears FReepers don’t understand that Alaska has had a number done on it by the left (I speak am a long time Alaskan).
Alaska has a very small population, and easy to manipulate. Half the population lives in Anchorage, the rest scattered over a vast area. The left had only to target Anchorage to take over the state. There have orchestrated a mass influx of third world types into Anchorage...and we know how they vote...and so does Murkowski.
She was originally somewhat like her dad, Frank Murkowski, a Reagan Republican, but with her finger to the changed demographics of Anchorage, she has made herself the favorite politician of the new third world majority in Anchorage...the rest of us in the “bush” be damned, selling out the rest of the state who have alwasys voted conservative.
Anchorage is the crux of the problem.

President impeachment should be conducted along the lines of a criminal trial.
The defendant and his legal counsel should be kept fully informed of relevant dates, charges and evidence.
Hearsay evidence and misleading evidence of possibly impeachable actions of other executive branch persons have no place in a impeachment trial of a president.
Geez! How many states in the U.S. consist of rural/small town majorities dominated by the liberal politics of the largest city in the state? It’s a bunch!
