CTH was always curious why one specific member of the Trump campaign and transition team was abruptly departed (Nov 15, 2016) immediately after the visit by NSA Director Mike Rogers was scheduled, and two-days prior to their meeting. Its a weedy question, likely only considered by those who were watching closely at the time
However, perhaps Inspector General Michael Horowitz has provided some background on the move. [Page 336, 337, fn #474]

(Hey Bitt! Merry Christmas)
Now who left the campaign early?
CTH. Duh, it right in the Title! !
Ok everyone, think hard. Who left the campaign right before Mike Rogers went to Trump Tower?
Congressman Mike Rogers, not to be confused to ADM Mike Rogers, USN
Chris Christie left as did Congressman Rogers (who was on intelligence committee). Anyone else have some names?
Not to be confused with NSA Director Mike Rogers. 8>)
You beat me to it, because I added pictures. 8>)
Thats now three of us, must be him LOL
It says it in the article, so yes it is him. 8>)
And what is a Delta file?
You read the article? Thats no fun, its like reading the last page of a mystery.
remain interested in any campaign related reporting that you guys might receive from the CHS during normal debriefs.
So, we can't get away with using him as evidence, but keep working him, and if you get some inside campaign info, let us know!
“ps. Yeah, I know, its weird because there are two Mike Rogers. One bad and one good.”
GOOD: Admiral Michael “S” Rogers U.S. Navy
Former head of the National Security Agency and U.S. Cyber Command.
BAD: Michael “J” Rogers, Former Congressman (R), (resigned from congress), former Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, and former member of Donald Trumps presidential transition team (fired).
Some highlights of former Congressman Michael S. Rogers:
1) Currently is under contract to CNN.
2) Served in the Army. Worked for the FBI. Left the FBI to run for Congress from Michigan.
3) In 2017 was interviewed to replace James Comey after Comey was fired.
4) In November 2011 he introduced a bill to allow government agencies to share classified cyber security information with private companies.
5) He supported NSA secret surveillance of American citizens. He was quoted as saying, “You can’t have your privacy violated if you don’t know your privacy is violated.”
To those who insist voting for any Republican is better than voting for any Democrat I submit former Congressman Mike Rogers as the poster boy for someone who should not be in any elective or appointive office under any circumstances. The man has no respect for the rights of citizens.
AND former FBI agent. Good grief that is an incestuous group they have there in DC.
How long was Manafort involved?
One member of the transition team said that at least one reason Mr. Rogers had fallen out of favor among Mr. Trumps advisers was that, as chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, he had overseen a report about the 2012 attacks on the American diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, which concluded that the Obama administration had not intentionally misled the public about the events there.
